2 /5 Carol Areyano: Only reason I am giving 2 stars is because I was really upset I could not eat my eggs, bacon, & potatoes. I do not like the strawberry syrup all over when it’s all sweet making my eggs, potatoes, & bacon sweet. The waitress seen the way my plate was & did not even offer to bring a new dish. I was going to give 1 star but my family really enjoyed their plates. Especially my daughters they loved the pizzas. Plus it’s a good atmosphere, very clean as well. My daughter said the bathrooms are super clean! My french toast with the strawberries were so good just for the future please consider putting the french toast on a separate plate! Definitely offer next time to ask if customer would like french toast on a separate plate. I usually make sure to let the waiter know but this time I completely forgot. I really love how the salsa is homemade as well.

4 /5 Robyn McManus: Didnt take a picture, but they have a super delicious bowl of clam chowder soup, 10/10 would get it again. Our entrees were also really good, and the pizza dough was cooked perfectly IMO. My only issue was our meal was a bit pricey for lunch and the server could have been more attentive for the restaurant being empty. But overall, the quality of the food was great, so Ill definitely be back.

5 /5 Christina Nava: Stoped at the Golden Gate Bistro in Novato and had a delicious bbq chicken pizza with a Michelada. My boo also enjoyed his healthy egg white breakfast. Not only did the staff provide great service but they added cilantro and herbs to the egg whites. Its the little touches that make a difference and brighten up your meal. Would highly recommend this place.

We weren’t planning to go there; we just happened to be nearby and decided to give it a try. To our surprise, there was live music when we arrived. At first, we weren’t sure about the noise, but once we sat outside, we found it more enjoyable than overwhelming. The music added a nice, lively atmosphere. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, and everything moved at a nice pace. We ordered tacos and a roasted beet salad with grilled salmon. Both dishes were fresh and well-prepared. The tacos were tasty and satisfying, and the salad had a good mix of earthy and bright flavors. The salmon added a nice richness. I initially didn’t plan to have a drink, but the fun atmosphere got to me. We ended up sharing two Modelo Lagers. The combination of good food, good music, and a relaxed outdoor vibe made it hard to resist. Overall, our first visit was a pleasant surprise. Golden Gate Bistro feels like a casual place to grab a meal, enjoy a drink, or just relax with live entertainment. If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth a visit—you might be pleasantly surprised too.
