5 /5 Jarred Flores: El Patio ended up being one of our favorite stops in Palm Springs. We came in for a casual drink and ended up staying for three rounds of margaritas because the atmosphere was just that good. The space is colorful, open, and relaxed without trying too hard. It feels like a place that knows exactly what kind of experience it wants to offer—good drinks, good food, and a patio that makes you want to linger.
I ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla, which was simple but done really well. The tortilla had a crisp edge, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the chicken was flavorful without being dry. It came with fresh salsa that was probably the standout of the meal. Bright, spicy, and clearly made in-house. We ended up asking for more and used it on everything.
The margaritas were strong, well-balanced, and not too sweet. Each round was consistent, and they came out fast even though the place was busy. Our server was friendly and casual, which matched the vibe of the place. No pressure, no rush—just easy, attentive service.
If you’re in Palm Springs and want a spot to enjoy a laid-back afternoon with solid drinks, great chips and salsa, and a breezy outdoor setup, El Patio delivers. We’ll definitely be back.
