5 /5 Bud Infield: Went to Don Luis at 8 pm, and they close at 9 pm, and the staff was preparing for close. However, when we came in, we were greeted with open arms!
I shared that it was my wifes first visit to Don Luis, and she was excited to try it. The chef, Fernando, was taking a break but quickly hopped into action. I asked him if shrimp was available tonight, and he said ohh yes.
My wife ordered two shrimp tacos, rice, and beans. I ordered something off the menu. I ordered Shrimp Diablo, but I wanted it over their salad plate along with extra Diablo sauce to be used as dressing. Turn it up a notch please, I asked.
Fernando didnt disappoint! This man is a true chef! Anything he makes is delicious! Debs shrimp tacos were not only presented beautifully, but were amazing!
Now my Shrimp Diablo was over the top in flavor with a hot bite of chili! Ohh my goodness, Fernando is the man! What an awesome chef.
I really like their Chili Verde, and everything is good but order shrimp if Fernando is cooking, he is the shrimp master!
