Diegos Restaurant - Grass Valley (CA)

5 /5 Jamie: I met the owner at Safeway earlier this year and she suggested we try her restaurant. We have been 4 or 5 times since then. Every time we visit we are greeted with a smile from everyone and there is never a problem if you ask for something extra. We brought our daughter and our grandsons yesterday. ( Teens) The oldest is beyond picky. He ordered the fajitas, both my daughter were shocked, he ate every bit of it. They loved Diegos and want to come back next time they visit. You have the right combination. Friendly Staff, great food and the Atmosphere is delightful.

5 /5 D Mont: Diegos is such a fabulous little place that has delicious food but amazing dining environment. The owner is such a sweet heart who named it after her grandson. I have been here twice and it is now a MUST GO TO while in Penn Valley and Grass Valley area. Cheers, well done ✅

5 /5 Mary: Went to visit Empire Mine State Park and was looking a place nearby. This is a quick 5-10 minutes drive from the park. It’s a cute little small restaurant. There is mainly street parking and doesn’t seem like there’s a specific parking lot. We were quickly greeted right away upon arrival and seated. They brought out bread to start of us off and my that was some really good bread. It was both soft and warm. Very delicious. I would suggest ordering the sunrise lemonade as well, very refreshing! I ordered the mushroom dish, and oh my, it was delicious! This place would be great for vegetarians and meat eaters as well. The options and possibility caters to all without skimping out on flavors.

5 /5 Earl Schamehorn: It was obvious to me that delicious food was prepared with great care, the grilled vegetables some of the best Ive had. The server was excellent, very upbeat and attentive without bugging. The atmosphere was fantastic with a tremendous style while being a bit one off. What a beautiful dinning experience! 5 /5 Amy Kull: I hosted a banner year birthday party for my friend at my house last night. I had 18 guests. After having a terrific experience with Diego’s when they catered my wedding welcome dinner, I knew I had to turn to them again. Tony and the team took care of me like I was family. The food was delicious and they were very generous with their portions!! Everyone raved about the enchiladas, guacamole…everything. The whole experience was seamless and so, so easy for me. I highly recommend Diego’s for an in-restaurant or catered experience. You’ll be very happy!
