2 /5 Jeremy Cowin: We’re only in town once a year, and this visit was especially meaningful because our daughter had just had a new baby. On our last night, she finally felt well enough to get out with the baby, so my wife and I wanted to surprise them with a nice dinner somewhere they had never been.
After searching around, we found Dribble Creek Outpost. The place looked great online, so we loaded up the kids, made the 15-minute drive, unloaded everyone, and walked up to the front door. Everything looked fantastic… until we were met with a sign that said closed for a private party.
Back into the car we went — now with tired, crying kids — and had to scramble to find somewhere else at the last minute.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this is 2025. It would have taken five minutes to post a notice on the website or update the Google listing for the evening. That simple step would have saved customers a lot of inconvenience, especially families.
I’m sure the food and atmosphere are great, but communication matters. Unfortunately, this experience missed the mark.
