Crazy Ds Hot Chicken - Woodland (CA)

4 /5 Jonathan Su: Crazy Ds is located inside the Chevron Extra Mile convenience store off Main St in Woodland not far off the I-5 freeway. Staff were all very nice and helpful! Food: - Crazy Mac n Cheese not overpowered with cheese (which I like). It was topped with some chopped fried chicken and choice of regular spice, hot spice or a mix of both. Ive learned to not choose the spiciest offering (medium) so I can enjoy the taste of the food/seasonings and it was just the right amount of spicy and was delicious. - Brownie Cheesecake was very good, but slightly too sweet. - Tender Box (6 piece giant tenders at mild spiciness), very good seasoning and mild spiciness which was a little too mild, but I didn’t want to take a chance as I ordered these for the kids. - OG Smash Burger was good size and tasted good, but a little plain as all it had was Crazy D’s sauce, pickles and cheese, but that was stated in the description. - Onion Rings were good size and had good season so you can eat with or without dipping sauce. - Coleslaw was a little bland and use more seasoning. There is a counter with some chairs for patrons to sit and eat, otherwise there is no major indoor dinning area, so most people would probably take it togo and eat it in their car, park or at home.

5 /5 Christal Fowler: I’m not a big fan of Chicken but it was late, I was hungry and during my search online found out crazy D’s is down the street. We have these back in Reno Nevada. Never tried it but always heard good reviews on it. So I figured I would try it out tonight. Really glad I did. I had a few questions for the gentleman and he’s so kindly answered them without acting like I was Bugging him. Such a nice person and we had a great Conversation. The food is really good, There’s a lot of flavor to it without being overpowering. I really enjoyed the coleslaw. Next time I go back, I would like to get a side of it. The portion sides I feel are very fair for the price. I’m not gonna be able to eat at all tonight, but I’ll have some amazing leftovers for tomorrow. I will definitely be going back!

5 /5 Timmy Brooks: I come to Woodland to work out at Fitness Systems and when I finish my workout, I’m starving!! I come to Crazy D’s which is located in the Chevron and I always get hooked up by the homey, Deep! He is a great cook and the food is amazing! That’s Deep in the photo.

4 /5 Mezo: I ordered the chicken slider and crazy fries w half Mac. The chicken for the slider was huge! I chose medium spice level and it was the perfect amount of spice. The sauce was also really tasty. The Mac & Cheese was really creamy and delicious! I don’t usually order Mac and cheese from hot chicken places b/c the mac is always a disappointment. Either watery, dry, or has no flavor, but Crazy D’s knows how to make some mac!! The fries were also super crispy and delicious! Overall really great experience. Would definitely recommend this place over red chickz ngl.
