C Js BBQ & Fish - Richmond (CA)

4 /5 Greg Laughlin: Stopped by this restaurant for lunch. It was good but I’ve had better. At least the service was good and the dining area was clean. CASH is the preferred form of payment. There is an ATM in the establishment or one can retrieve cash at the 7-11 across the street.

1 /5 T.L. C: Ordered to-go so cant speak on the service or atmosphere, but the food was very bad. I got the fried snapper and fries. Fries were undercooked and soggy, which is forgivable imo, but the fish was rubbery and had an awful texture, and it tasted OLD. Im not even convinced it was actually snapper. More like a fishy tasting mystery meat.

4 /5 Sarah H: What a hidden gem! We noticed the sign while entering the Travis AFB gate. Did a u-turn and headed straight there. The ribs are amazing! The folks running the place are some of the friendliest people; theyre proud of what they are selling (and they should be). The BBQ ribs and brisket are incredible. I also ordered the fried catfish nuggets. The BBQ was much better so I ended up eating half of my husbands food. Which was fine, because the portion sizes of meat are plenty. We also enjoyed the macaroni salad. Well definitely be back!!

3 /5 Jamese Edwards: The ribs are definitely a hit! Sauce is perfect, meat easy to eat (not fall off the bone) but that’s okay. I just didn’t like the portion sizes of my sides, they’re really small. And also, I could tell the cornbread was made the day before. But other than that, everything is good
