5 /5 Virginia Huffman: We had a good experience at Brochette Dumpling and Grill on Main Ave in Redwood City. The ambiance is lively and fresh — with upbeat music, beautiful wall decor, comfortable chairs, and nicely set tables.
When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly quiet, but a few more people came in as we ate.
Service was friendly and quick. We tried a variety of dishes — the dumplings were solid, and the skewers were tasty. We especially liked the shrimp sui mai, chickem meatball and the chicken thigh skewer with wasabi. Just a heads-up: the chicken wasabi does pack a punch!
The pork soup dumplings were delicious, and the shrimp and pork siu mai were also a highlight. Would definitely come back to try more!
