5 /5 Marsha Keller: The food is delicious and generous. Second time eating here this week- Taco salad was perfect. And beautifully displayed for a down home place- Hot turkey sandwich was delicious.

4 /5 Jonelle Tannahill: Took the family out to breakfast at Black Bear Diner. We got in right away. Our server was friendly and polite. The food was good. Just nothing special. I was excited to order the avocado toast. And disappointed when it came and it was just chopped avocado on dry toast. I’ll try them again as maybe it’s a one- off. But in our party of four no plate really stood out.

5 /5 Connor Nelson: Black bear diner never ceases to be the best. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is always perfectly made. Ive been to locations all across California, Arizona, and Idaho and the effort they put into their restaurant is always consistent!

5 /5 toco285: Buffy our waitress was A-ma-zing! She was truly fabulous in both kindness and efficiency. I rarely eat at Black Bear, but i might go back to the Roseville location, though i live near the Auburn one….just to tip her again

3 /5 Andrew Christman: We were sat right away which was nice! Then, we got ignored by our waitress for about 20 minutes. She finally acknowledged us and we got our order in. The food came quick and was cooked to perfection! Veggie Omelet is the way to go! Our waitress checked on us once, about five minutes after receiving our food. Then, once again got ignored. We sat there waiting for our check for over 30 minutes. We tried to wave her down multiple times, but couldnt catch her attention. Finally, I went up to her booth, let her finish enter the order she was putting in and asked for my check. I got a ride "I will come take care of you in a sec" response with some sass. If we do comeback, we will make sure to not receive her as our waitress. Food and other servers were perfect!
