4 /5 Caezar Ancayan: I had a great experience at Antojito Mary’s in Ukiah! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I ordered several items to try a bit of everything:
Tacos de Papa: These were a standout—crispy potato tacos topped with green salsa, cotija cheese, and more green salsa. The crunch was perfect and the flavors balanced beautifully.
Asada Tacos: Served on corn tortillas, the meat was tender and well-seasoned, topped simply with green salsa, cilantro, and onions—classic and delicious.
Adobado Tacos: I had never tried adobado before, but I’m glad I did. The flavor was smoky and rich, with a nice depth. Topped with green onion and cilantro, they were a surprising favorite.
I especially loved the pickled carrots—tangy, perfectly spiced, and a great side. I was happy to learn she sells them by the jar to take home, which I definitely recommend!
I also tried the elote with TajĂn. It was okay—not as creamy as I prefer, and the lime or TajĂn may have overpowered it a bit for my taste. Still, it was a fun addition to the meal.
Overall, Antojito Mary’s is a solid choice for authentic, satisfying Mexican street food. Seating is outside in the shade. A little loud due to a running generator for the kitchen. I’ll definitely be back for more tacos and a jar of those carrots!
