3 /5 Hawson Wang: I was excited to try this new spot but left underwhelmed. It feels like you’re paying city prices for food that doesn’t deliver.
The pork belly was dry and not crispy, and the octopus came with a sauce that didn’t work. Three tacos for $19 tasted decent, but honestly, most food trucks could do the same. We also tried other tapas like zucchini and shrimp, but none stood out. The only highlight was the special peach salad, which was tasty.
Service was equally disappointing—loudly banging the glass on the table when dropping water, and no interaction beyond the bare basics. The staff seemed young. The environment was also quite loud, which didn’t help.
On the positive side, the utensils, plates, and glasses were pretty, and the interior and building itself are beautiful.
In short, a mediocre experience. The prices suggest a premium meal, but the food and service simply don’t measure up.
