karla wells This is a church full of grace and community. My family searched for many years for the right church. When we walked into RVC the first Sunday, it was like going to a family reunion. There’s a genuine concern and care for others. The pastors allow the Holy Spirit to guide the church through the preaching of the Bible and trust in God’s timing for growth and change in the people as we walk our journey with Him.

Amy Lowe My family instantly felt at home here. The teaching on our first Sunday was amazing and then we later found out it was Bob, the Children’s Pastor. We absolutely loved it and he brought the Word. Matt, the Lead Pastor, taught the next week and he was also awesome. We loved how he came and introduced himself to us and tried connecting us with other people our age, in a similar stage of life. We’d only been going a few weeks and his family had lunch with us and took the time to get to know us, both of these Pastors cultivate such a familial environment of love and truth. I love that I never felt like you were just told what you wanted to hear to make you feel good, they unapologetically teach the Bible without fear. This church, more than any other my family has ever been a part of, truly felt like family (we sadly had to move out of state for work) and I think that is 100% because these Pastors care about their flock. They are invested and some of the most authentic and genuine people I’ve ever known. Their love for the Lord is so apparent. The children’s ministry is also great! Bob is always doing fun things with the kids. Rob, the youth pastor is a sweet soul. The music here is also always on point. We loved the selection of songs they played while we were there, mostly contemporary, and a few hymns here and there. Really wish more churches would take the example of River Valley by teaching Gods Word and loving people in truth.

Ashley Ingalls About three years ago I started attending Sunday services here at Cornerstone. I was searching for a good Christ centered church that was going to help me better understand and follow Him. I can’t even begin to explain how my life has changed since then. As soon as I started meeting people in the church I knew that God had brought me to the right place. Before I knew it I was getting baptized, being discipled in God’s word, and (for the first time in my life) I was excited to go to church every week. Pastor Jason, Todd, and Jim are amazing leaders that are on fire for God and teaching His word. I have personally witnessed the Holy Spirit do amazing things in our church and my family. There’s no doubt in my mind that God is doing big things through His church and I’m forever grateful He blessed me with my forever family.

Mike FromYuba This is a wonderful Church! The Sunday services are beautiful! They focus largely on understanding the scripture as well as how the lessons apply to daily life. Easy for all ages to understand and follow.( thank you Father Brown and your wonderful team at this Parish) Ive been to a funeral and a couple weddings at this church and all were handled beautifully with the greatest respect to God and his followers. They do wonderful charity work for the homeless as well as many other charities such as a womans friend and St Vincent de Paul. And they managed to continue Perpetual adoration but could use a few more volunteers. They could use some work in some of the pews and carpet could be replaced but they use their money on more important things. They have a wonderful Event Hall with a large kitchen. Excellent place for wedding receptions and other large events!

I intend to keep to myself as I didn’t know anyone, but, all told, I spoke to over a dozen people, worshipers as well as staff. Very friendly. A nice experience to be repeated.
