Imani Brooks I just had a consultation with Tamran and she was very cool. She was straight to the point and actually gave me really good suggestions. I did not get to hire her as my attorney because she was very honest with me and let me know that I would not be able to get the restraining order granted. I did feel a little bummed out until she continued to talk. She let me know that instead of following through with the restraining order, instead I can get a communication order for our child custody case. This is a great idea because I honestly just want my sons father to leave me alone and only speak to me about our child. She basically told me we’re handing him the rope….. Which is a way smarter idea! Because you know what. Tamran is right. I am not going to get that restraining order granted if I follow through with it. I will do as she suggested and ask for a communication order. I will continue to document him and if he decides to break that order, welll…. He’s basically hanging himself with that rope I mentioned earlier lol! If he decides to break that communication order I will then CALL AMARAL LAW AND HAVE TAMRAN AS MY ATTORNEY!! Period. If I could’ve had her, I 1000% would hire her. She is honest, blunt, cares about her clients & she’s NOT MONEY HUNGRY! If you are looking for someone to represent you, I recommend you hire Tamran. You won’t regret it!

Kimberley Pollard If you are looking for a responsive legal representative, this is not the place for you. Although I believe Tamran is knowledgable and personable, she was never available, failed to respond to phone calls and emails, and her staff is quite rude. If your case is not urgent, expect long delays. I cannot recommend this firm.
UPDATED: It is interesting that hiring a firm for 3+ months would generate the response from the owner as it has. In the 3+ months of having been "hired" I did not receive any responses to my numerous inquiries from her. When it gets to the point where all you have left to try is to show up unannounced, that clearly speaks volumns.
Further, when a client reaches this point, being upset and frustrated SHOULD be expected. When no responses are received or the same retorts are given but there is no follow-through, clients SHOULD be unnerved. And, to dismiss MY emergency matter because it does not fit the owners definition of an emergency, well, that just elevates the frustration and shows a significant lack of empathy and a complete void of communication during a time where these traits should be abundant and frequent.
Again, such a lack of compassion, communication, follow-through, empathy, etc. - is not what I signed on for and generally not what a client in my position was lead to be walking into.
On a positive note, I did get MOST of my deposit back even though it was sent to the wrong address delaying its receipt and ability to deposited. A small win in an otherwise uphill battle.
