Patrick Schnurbusch We were camping nearby and stopped in for a Sunday visit. Many came up to greet us and help us feel at home. Lots of scripture was quoted and the music was fabulous. We will definitely come back to visit.

Sarah Ellen Randall Just visited Grace Community on our vacation. The congregation was so welcoming, and the pastor’s wife even helped watch our son so my husband and I could enjoy the message. The pastor gave a great message from the book of Acts and brought up so many good application points. We really enjoyed listening to him teach, and the church participated throughout the sermon with questions and answers. Very down to earth and honest pastor! Babz El I visit Mammoth with my atheist hubby and am always looking for an opportunity to worship Jesus. Their Sunday services were at 6pm which is perfect for me! Great worship leader, great service, beatifully friendly, happy congregation. I plan to visit again with my husband the next time were up here. Oct 2023 update: Praise God, my husband now considers himself a former" atheist. Hallelujah! God has been working on him and I trust that God will see his salvation through!

Arthur F Beautiful, yet simple, Mass and homily. Disappointed still not allowing tongue reception of the Eucharist here - yet the priest does not wear a mask, and shakes hands with everyone after Mass. So I declined reception out of respect for Father’s request. This is why a loss of 1 star. Please at least be consistent with the policy you choose.

K D Hess Friend of mine was the snowboard instructor and got an early call to China to go teach English about 6 years ago so he asked me to go up there and stay to the lease was over and make sure his roommates didnt trash the place so he would get his deposit back and he told the landlord Ill be coming up. And I fell in love with this church, the people, the priest that would make the rounds in that county. I just I felt so at home and at peace while part of the congregation.

Layne Campbell You could sleep in while on vacation, or you could find rest for your soul and attend the service at Mammoth Lutheran. The worship service was genuine, sweet, and biblically focused. I was delighted to step into the cozy old chapel with sun streaming in through the stained glass windows and a pianist playing old hymns echoing throughout. The pastor and small local congregation were as welcoming as could be. We have three young children, who can be a little bit loud, but everyone was delighted that we brought them and the pastor engaged with them directly during the start of the message. a grandmotherly woman invited the kids to do a little Sunday school in the back during the bulk of the sermon and they loved the arts and crafts she did with them about the lesson. Lutherans pack a lot of liturgy into one hour, all the worship music was from the hymnal, there was a lot of direct scripture reading and a few creeds. I couldnt say if their theology is progressive or conservative, but it was heavily biblically grounded. This is not the type of church we go to back home, but it was wonderful, and we were so glad we did not skip worship just because we were on vacation.
