Clara Chan Its a super welcoming Cantonese church for all age groups. The community is small but people are close to each other. The church emphasizes on learning and acting out the Bibles teaching as well as discipleship. I definitely recommend it!

I have joined this church for several years and have very good spiritual growth which is not easy to encounter else where.

Charles Ting We visited Silicon Valley Reformed Baptist Church while we were in the States for 3 months. We were very happy that we could find a Reformed Baptist Church that goes by the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith. Worshipping with them and listening to biblical, God centered exposition there was a pleasure and a blessing. The brothers and sisters there were very welcoming. We had lunch together, and one brother even invited our family to their place after church. Sadly, we could only attend in person twice due to the coronavirus, but during the shelter in place period, we were able to attend through Zoom. Our experience at Silicon Valley Reformed Baptist Church was very comforting to us during tough times, and were very grateful for their kindness and hospitality.

If youre reading this because youre looking for a church home for the first time or as a Christian wanting a theologically rich, biblically accurate assembly filled with Christians who are deeply concerned with living out the word of God, this is an amazing place to call home. I visited during a deeply troubling time of hardship as a new believer, I was really going though it, and was so relieved to meet a community that was full of grace, wisdom and love who did their best to care for my soul. If I lived locally I absolutely wouldve stayed here, but I now attend a Reformed church recommended by SVRB that has been a complete change of life for me, to the glory of God. I couldnt suggest this church more strongly, take the step of faith and obedience, theres no smoke machines, LED shows, bad doctrine and pastors in skinny jeans here, youll be so blessed on your first visit. Ashton Hosford I cannot say enough good about this church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought me closer to God, and has brought me great happiness and meaning in my life. I have three little children and it is not always easy to get up, get ready and go each week. However, EVERY single week I am grateful I went and when I return home I feel better, I am better-- more peace, more joy, more purpose in my life, more resolve to follow Christ, more love for my brothers and sisters on this earth, more guidance on how to raise my children in this world but not of this world, better equipped to strengthen my eternal marriage and family. There are also many opportunities each week to serve in the congregation and in the community that bless and enrich my life. Coming to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints each week feels to me like coming Home. It recharges my spirit and I recenter on the things that matter most-- the Lord and my family. The feelings of peace and joy I feel from learning the eternal truths of Christs gospel each week are priceless. John Terry Went here for easter 2025 celebrations. Great place and organizers. Everyone was friendly but a lady that was on a table with easter eggs shouted at a group of parents whose kids grabbed eggs before they were supposed to. She asked the parents to teach their kids manners in a rough tone and they told their kids to return the eggs. I am sure this is inconsistent with the values of the church and this lady needs to be taught a thing or two about how kids get excited about things and how to do her job. It seemed that she did not like this specific group, but anyhow, this is the only bad experience. Or else, a welcoming place for all types of humans.

Jeanette Hada Its been awhile since I attended church service and was blessed to be invited by a friend to join their event which included one of the best, most relatable sermons. I was warmly greeted and enjoyed seeing a diverse group of people coming together.

She loves the children’s classes, the teachers and playing with the other kids. I love that this church makes the Bible the standard and believes in supportive relationships that go beyond the church building. Denise Tsang This is what I call a warm fuzzy church! People here are so friendly and warm. The worship service is a perfect mix of contemporary and traditional elements. Its really refreshing and uplifting! The Sanctuary is always clean and tidy...especially beautiful with all the stained glass windows surrounding the worship area. Magnificent and glorious place to worship and visit with friends inside and in the gardens...did I say that the people are super friendly and nice??

Theologically, Pastor Bufords approach positions the church well, with a commitment to the love of God for all people, the acknowledgement that the world today is not yet the reality that we seek, and a strong, repeated assertion that positive change in ourselves and in the larger world is both a possibility and a responsibility. The worship style is mainline Protestant in a traditional church sanctuary, with a few elements of what I might call "praise worship" interspersed. Sunday attendance levels of 20 to 30 people (as of summer 2016) put this church into the "cozy and get to know everyone" category, so if youre looking for anonymity within a crowd of several hundred worship attendees, thats probably not what youll find here. I have felt at home, fully loved and welcomed into this family. Martin Koole I was here before a few years ago. Now I was here again with Easter on Thursday and Sunday. You always feel welcome and pastor John Christie is a blessed speaker/teacher. At home in the Netherlands I go to a baptist church and looking at songs and preaching this feels very similar.

Nowelle Sinclair I attended this church last Sunday and October 2013. I am traveling through the area. They were very friendly and greeting me. They serve snacks before the second service. The sermon was about generosity and I got the idea by the offerings of the church that the pastor seems to be preaching about something that he daily understands and lives. Although not a member of their church and a first time visitor, I was allowed to attend their free lunch where they explain some things about the church renovations etc. Kind people and good music. I enjoyed the church visit.

Steve James Very nice church. Went to observe a renewal of wedding vows and was very impressed with the church. It was clean, covid protocols were observed and the door was left open for extra ventilation. The Father who officiated was very professional while not being a pompous oaf. I liked him but cannot remember his name. Had a good sense of humor and was aware of the real world as it is, not as it should be.
