Tina Monick This guy is a rip off just to get more money ok he fixed a couple things but the car still felt the same thing I took it back he try to say it wasn’t the problem but his worker said what it was and could be what’s going on the spark plugs but he says it’s not that so I took my car to another Mechanic and it was what that worker said now it runs great .

Marcus Barrera Do Not Trust this shop with your car. This man tampered with my wheel sensors which triggered the dash light to come on. They also removed the shim on my starter so when I picked up my car, the starter made a grinding noise while starting the car. When questioned about the wheel sensor light and grinding starter the owner said the car was like that when I brought it in. Things got ugly between the owner and I. Ultimately, he was given no choice but to repair what he tampered with. I highly suggest staying away from this shop no matter how friendly the owner may initially come across. Dishonest and not to be trusted. If I can give this shop a lower rating, I would.

Saint X Justice Nick and his guys know what theyre doing! They took care of my truck and had a quick turn around time. Thanks to them my work horse is still kicking. Recommend these guys if you dont want to wait a long time for your repairs like other shops.

EL TORO Very disappointed with this shop. Came here back in June 2021 for repairs on my 2013 Prius. They charged me $2,400 to swap the motor with another used motor and new water pump. Car lasted me 15,000 miles. Left the shop with 174,727 miles and motor blew 2 years later at 188k miles. Car is regularly serviced and oil changed every 5,000 miles even though the recommended interval is 10k miles. Upon taking my Prius to the Toyota dealership they discovered that Nicks Auto Repair had either rushed the engine rebuild, or the donor motor they got for me was in bad shape and abused in its past life. Toyota also let me know that they had not replaced my water pump with a new one because if they did the motor should have lasted at least another 100k miles. the whole reason my motor blew was because the water pump failed, which led to the head gasket blowing, which led to the car overheating and getting a crack on the block. Had to get another donor motor and this time I ended up doing it myself, taking apart the whole donor motor making sure it was in good condition to be swapped into my car to not deal with a headache like this again. For the amount these guys charged they should’ve inspected the “donor” motor but honestly I’m not sure if they actually even swapped the engine because they never showed me my old engine or any proof. I’d never recommend anyone to come here.

Raquel Barajas Be careful with this shop ! They are shady and will give you the run around and over charge you . They diagnose one thing when in reality its another . Till they bleed you dry ! They will give you excuse after excuse on why your vehicle isnt ready and hit you with " storage fees " I have all documentation of their scam! If you want to keep your vehicle I recommend you not go here ! They will keep your vehicle after purposely prolonging the repair .

Miguel Hernandez STAY AWAY!!! The AC on my car needed to be repaired. A $99 diagnostic was performed. After the diagnostic was performed they determined the compressor needed to be replaced. An additional $1000 was payed for the compressor replacement. After the replacement I was now being told that further work needed to be performed. After the replacement of the compressor the AC was still not in working order. They were now asking for an additional $1000 to replace all AC system parts. I decided not to proceed with further work. If a proper, honest, thorough diagnostic was performed they could have presentment me an upfront price to correct all that is needed or I could have at least been given a warning that the compressor was a starting point and further work may be needed. It is also not right to keep the money I payed for work that did not prove to be the solution to my problem. If a plumber came to your house and asked for $1000 to fix your plumbing issue and what they recommended did not fix the issue would you expect your money back ? Yes ! After more money was asked of me I felt uncomfortable with their process. I may not be able to get my money back but I can at least warn others about coming here. The guy claims he has 40 years of experience and expensive equipment. Well, it looks like all that experience and equipment isn’t being put to good use and is obsolete when no care is given to their customer. I hope he sleeps good at night, running a dishonest practice. When I think about providing or contracting a service I always think to myself “Is this somewhere or someone I would trust dealing with my grandma?” AA Affordable Auto is a hard no. I should have looked at reviews before coming here but it also looks like I’m not the only one. This seems to be a pattern with their customers. I was told and given the same responses the bad reviews talk of. So like I was told “Take it to someone else then”, I definitely will be :)

Jesus Rico Not honest at all!! didnt mention upfront price just to give me an estimate. Wanted to charge over $500 just to replace a $70 dlls hose that takes 10 minutes to change. He still charged my daughter $100 just to tell her what we already knew the problem was.

I pulled into the business to ask a simple question and before I can speak they said I needed to step off my vehicle if I wanted to talk to them. They were rude and unprofessional. Glad I didnt give them my hard earned money. There are many other mechanics in the area check those out before you come to this one. Read the other negative reviews as the 5 stars ones appear to be fake (bots).

Fortress fighter Some months back, I had my sienna in for routine maintenance regarding the sparkplugs. Them comes the time where I need to do a smog check only to fail it because one of the vacuum nipples on the air filter box had been broken and taped up. So I had to dish out another 60$ to get that fixed and another 20$ for a retest. That should be all right? Wrong! I now have multiple cylinder, misfires. Im never coming back here again. They are so lazy with their professionalism and ethics!

PM I wanted to change brake pads for my car. I had the parts with me. The owner is a good person. But Panda was not there. The two guys working there were charging $250. I hope Panda takes notice.

They will only accept cash and I didnt sign a single piece of paper - nothing but a handshake. But thats just how they roll it seems; after fixing my car they let me quickly run to an ATM to get cash to pay them in the car they had just fixed :)

Jason Mayer Bill is the best mechanic you could ever possibly want. Ive gotten work done throughout the years by him and his staff and just last year had them do an engine replacement, transmission replacement, replace the radiator the air conditioning condenser pretty much an entire redo with the driveline amongst a bunch of other things done on my truck and it runs and drives like a brand new truck.
