1 /5 Christ Baize: My experience with Westamerica bank to date is NOT a very good one! First of all my deposit was wrongfully deposited into a family account causing checks to bounce resulting in overdrawn fees that to date is over two hundred dollars, and accruing $5 every day, all because one teller or manager deposited money into the wrong account. When I brought this to their attention all they could put back into my account was $79. As soon as I can rectify this huge mistake I will take my business to another institution.

1 /5 Robert Carter: Came in from out of town to do a signature card for a new account ( we already had a couple accounts with them) we were told the day before it was ready. They made us wait and continued taking other people as they walked in. Then it took 3 of them to figure out what to do. This is the worst bank for customer service I’ve ever dealt with. The Visalia branch is horrible so I figured try this one but I was wrong

Teyronn Jackson: I went in to open a checking account, but the line was so long and they only had one teller working. I heard another customer in line saying its always like this. So I looked at the ratings and saw how aweful they were. The long lines and poor customer service was just too much. I couldnt take a chance with giving them my business. They are clearly understaffed and their waiting area was like a lounge full of people.

Andrew Ruddy: Citibank is a joke. They allowed someone to remotely access my account, add a second person to my account, and to transfer my entire life savings to my checking account and then wire transfer it to someone in New York. The day this happened I was running a 103 fever and I answered yes to one text which I thought I was saying yes to lock the account. Instead that one yes text allowed someone to financially ruin me. Citi "investigated" the situation and ultimately blamed me for not securing my account even though I strictly used the "secure" phone specific login they told me to use. Oh yeah, the branch manager assured me I would get my money back but that was a lie. So here I am, out $28,900 dollars and struggling to pay my mortgage because I assume Citi didnt want to take the insurance hit to reimburse me. Please note that my account is 25 years old and they didnt care at all about the age or good standing of the account all these years.
