5 /5 Will K: I was really impressed with this course and the overall facilities. Great chipping and putting area, beautiful driving range with great mats that allow you to tee up with real tees. Its not grass but its as close to it as you can get. Its also just a beautiful view in the morning out in the pasture. The course itself is gorgeous. I actually prefer the more difficult back nine since you find yourself up in the hills amongst the trees with elevation changes, uneven lies and unique holes. The fairways are tight so precision is key. I found myself hitting my hybrid a lot since you dont actually need the distance too often. The front nine is also great and the greens are in perfect condition. Quick but fair speed, putts run true and they stay consistent through the course. The staff in the pro-shop was fantastic, some of the best Ive encountered. Super friendly and helpful young guys. Ive grown up in the bay area and played golf a long time so I was surprised that Id never heard of this course before. I only found it through an NCGA tournament that was held there, but Im glad I found it. Ill definitely be back. NOTE FOR MANAGEMENT: The staff upstairs in the dining area/bar was another story. Truth be told, it was only one person that was an issue. My buddy and I made a simple order, we ordered the same food and sides plus the same drink. I would never think about name dropping especially online, but this server gave us such a bad experience I feel its warranted to help you solve the problem. We made our order with Jasmine, who asked us 4 times what our order was when we initially made it at the bar. Then when we sat down she came over another 4 separate times asking what our order was. My buddy and I genuinely looked at each other and asked each other if we were on a hidden camera show. In the moment, we also genuinely thought perhaps this poor person has had some kind of brain injury. Ive had some in the past and I know how it affects ones memory and focus among other things. Truly, Im not trying to insult anyone brain damage is no joke. So we wanted to give this situation a possibility. But then we saw how she treated her coworkers and it changed. She was "training" a few other servers or bar tenders and was extremely rude to them on the floor in front of everyone. The guy she was upset with wasnt even doing anything wrong, you could tell he was just new and maybe didnt know the process yet. She acted extremely unprofessional and ruined our post round experience and probably a few others eating/drinking in the bar. I bring it up because if I was the owner/manager Id hate for someone to have such a great time all day only to leave with a sour taste because of one individual. This place is so close to creating a perfect golf experience.
