5 /5 Raymond Cheng: I reached out to Roy for help regarding a real estate breach of contract case. My experience with Roy was very refreshing because it is not often you meet an attorney who will be honest with you and point you in the right direction rather then push you to retain them, promising results when they have not even looked at the details of my case.
I have spoken to over 10 attorneys regarding my situation and never felt comfortable moving forward with any of those attorneys because I could not shake the overwhelming feeling that I was just being told what I supposedly wanted to hear so I would drop 5-10 grand on a retainer.
What I truly appreciate from Roy is he took the time to listen to my case details rather then just talk over me which felt like a common theme speaking to other attorneys. After I explained the details Roy got real with me and told me he would not be the most qualified to handle my case because the nature of it was not his expertise. With my trial date coming up he told me that he could not adequately jump in at the time without facing a steep learning curve.
He then proceeded to spend about 15 minutes of his time to educate me on the civil litigation process, what my general options are, what is the best way I should respond to the suit, and then provided many resources that could help me.
He also recommended attorneys to me that he felt were honest and skilled. People he personally highly regards and felt were in much stronger positions to help me.
Roy, I just want to personally thank you for the time and patience you showed in helping me and the good word you put in to your associates for me. Writing a good review is the least I can do.
I would highly recommend Roy Comer.
