5 /5 Fred Ortanez: Spoke with a banker/employee named Alexander Sanchez, and he was wonderful and polite. Even though his computer stalling and delaying while he was starting our application for a loan; he was very detailed and informative on our account. He worked through his lunch I believe even his manager was mad he didn’t take his lunch, but he was committed to complete our application. I wish more bankers were like him. A++ service in my book. I hope all Patelco branches have their employees put customers first too. Makes us feel appreciated. I feel so bad for the employee. His management was adamant on him rushing the process, but he was great in every way. And we opened a checking and savings account too just because he was so very kind and understanding.

5 /5 Sean Gutierrez: I went to this Patelco branch yesterday to set up a new checking and savings account with direct deposit. Staff is very friendly and they took my same day appointment rescheduling with minimal effort. A good first impression for a credit union!

5 /5 ALICIA DEGUZMAN: Yesterday, September 3 we went to Patelco Credit Union Bank , Concord branch . ALL of them were so nice, once you open the door they will greet you and all smiling. Were just walk in customers but one of the bank teller called us hes name is Alexander and he said he can help us there , So where done w/ our transaction in a very short period of time like 10 minutes . He even greet my husband advance happy birthday he saw it in ID Sept 4 hes bday. So thank you very much for a nice experience. We said we will give Alexander a perfect score of 10 if its the highest..

5 /5 apolloobserved: Where do I start with the praises of Patelco? This branch is awesome. I have been with this branch for 22 yrs. Helpful, professional, nice staff and management. They go out of their way to help. To the people with parking issues-do you see the LARGE parking structure right next to the branch? DUH. Opening accounts 30 minutes before closing? Really? Have you ever worked in banking? I have. They have processes they need to follow. The world does not revolve around you-dont you understand Karen? To the branch staff its Kris =) You are Rock stars!

1 /5 B: I have been with Patelco for 3 years now and have been a great customer. Never been late with the payments and paid off my Lexus when I refinanced from them. Simply speaking, I have an excellent history with them. I was happy until this RUDE, RACIST and DISRESPECTFUL front receptionist clerk from Concord Location branch, acted as If I was a nobody!!!! He acted as if I was not worth it, and I was a waste of time when I came in the bank!!! I didn’t get his name; I hope I did. Patelco kept sending emails about a pre-qualified / pre-approved $amount auto loan. Now, I was thinking of buying a new car and thought about this offer from Patelco. I decided to come visit the bank to hopefully talk to a nice and professional agent regarding my auto loan. There were only 20 minutes left before they closed. The guy said that he won’t be able to complete my application in 20 minutes. If I come back tomorrow, he can do it, otherwise I can do it online. He said it’ll be the same thing. I did the online application and got denied because I asked for more than what I was pre-approved/pre-qualified. I felt that if I did the application in the bank with the assistance of a banker, they would be able to do something about it or would give a suggestion on how to make it work. The online application doesn’t have any option. Two days later, I decided to go to the bank and met this DISRECTPECTFUL guy that gave me a negative vibe right away when I stepped in. He didn’t believe that I was pre-qualified or even pre-approved. He said they don’t have this kind of offer. I did not argue with him. I just sat there and waited for a financial adviser. There was another guy that came out and listened to our conversation and later just walked away. I showed the front clerk guy proof that I received an email about the offer! He made me feel that I was LYING and wanted to take advantage. The guy that walked away, called my attention, and said that he can help me out. I went to his office and asked for my IDs and if I am a member. I asked why my auto loan was denied, and he said he’ll check it out for me but in the meantime, he wanted and prepared a NEW AUTO LOAN APPLICATION. I refused the second auto loan application because I don’t see the sense of doing it again since my first application was declined for some reason. I asked him simply before I left. If they can reinstate the first application where I can just get a lower amount and I’ll pay the rest of the amount myself. He told me that he’ll call personally. I didn’t receive any call, message, or text. AS EXPECTED, which I felt when I left. I felt that I was mistreated and discriminated every time I went there. I didn’t feel like I was a member. I am a very simple person. I don’t wear fancy clothes. It seemed like I was judged by the way I dressed and looked!!!! My auto loan approval though got denied was something that didn’t make me disappointed because I understood BUT NOT THE WAY THESE EMPLOYEES MADE ME FEEL. In my mind, I wanted to build an excellent credit history, but I was very disappointed. I don’t usually write a review and just move on due to my hectic schedule but this time, I cannot just let it go. I went there many times and not a single time I felt that someone was willing to help. I just recently bought another Lexus and is financed through them. I will fully pay this car at the end of this year. After all these humiliating experiences, I will close my account and will never be proud that I was a member for a very short period. To the managers and owners, please take the time to read this review. Hopefully, someone will take this matter seriously in the future. Reprimand those employees who don’t care about the company, their members and customer service!
