3 /5 Flako Valdovinos: Honestly One Main Financial isnt bad at all, i went there about 6 months ago to take out a personal loan and everything went smooth got my money right there and then. The only reason why im giving it three stars is because after taking my loan i got a call 2 weeks later saying that they needed to keep my car title and that they would give me a check with certain amount of money. To make long story short untill now i havent received a check and all they say to me is that they got a new system, that they will call me back in a certain day and never do and nobody knows how to use the system or that theyre too busy. Thats the only reason why i give it 3 stars everytime i call its something different.

1 /5 Tasha: One person is in training and unfortunately mislead me towards false approval odds with no expectation of providing documentation. Explained to the csr it would have been professional and courteous to give me, the client, reasonable expectations and be direct on what documents are needed instead of scrambling for what she’s requesting. Two other reps were there and had no sympathy for the new employee or me, the client. Both experienced rep (I think both considered themselves some sort of management) were rude towards me for expressing my opinion on expectations. One ignored me after I was asking questions and begging for help, the other made me uncomfortable and seemed obligated to help me and gave me a very snotty tone. Looking back, I should have just left and take my business to another place who values my business. I did not because I was there at the moment and overwhelmed. This will be a one and done for me at this Merced branch. I personally wanted to get a loan by myself. I could have asked a relative for help, but just didn’t want to be an inconvenience. That’s it’s, this whole experience made me feel like an inconvenience. Also very belittled and desperate. Uncomfortable to add to my experience.

5 /5 Jim Fimbrez: I had heard of One Main Financial, but had never had any person to person communication with them. I will say this, from the person that set an appointment to the, Merced office for me, to the representative that help me get my loan approved, were very curious, with very simple to understand various options & give you answers to any questions you have. They were so kind, they even reached out & went as far as mailing. W/stamp, a bill, I screwed up trying to pay it online. A very relaxing atmosphere, with everyone around that office, will help with any questions or anything, regarding your business there. The representative that helped me, was very efficient along with a easy to understand description of the segments in receiving the loan. Thank you very much, for helping me out of the situation I was in. It took a lot of stress & depression, away from me. This is a 10 Star financial company by far! Again? Thanks. Customer, Jim D. 1 /5 Nicole: Reached out to look for credit consolidation options. I was asked what debit collector sent me, “I am not in that position” I explained (Weird). Let her know my details and was presented with outrageous offers, 34%+ APR etc., I was then offered a lower rate to sign my car over as collateral, I immediately declined and ended the call. I was working with Linda. Continuing my search for my best option I called back the next day just to confirm the details again (“since they are not able to email anything in writing”) and Linda told me I was uninterested in what they have to offer and continued to express attitude while huffing and puffing for my information. In conclusion they are happy to take business as long as you sign and have no questions. Not a company that cares. I have found a better solution with another company willing to work with me and my situation. Hope others check out all options!

1 /5 Abel Garcia: Okay let me start off by saying the customer service was great and they have a easy and simple process to what you want to achieve. I had gotten approved for a loan the next day I applied for it but I respectfully explained to the loan officer that I wasnt looking for an ARP % that was too high. She then gave me a 35% ARP which was absolutely bananas considering my credit score plus my debit to income ratio as well. The one thing that did bother me was that she had lied to me, stating that a hard credit inquiry would only affect my credit score for a few weeks. Do not trust somebody that will lie to you over the phone. FIY it affects your score between one too two years depending on your situation.
