Crunch Fitness - Serra Mesa
Jeffrey Robinson: Mel has the best attitude EVER. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Went way beyond and above for us. Shes definitely management material. If shes not a manager, she should be or her pay should reflect it. Her attitude isnt something you find in everyone. Do all you can to keep her. Thank you Mel. We appreciate you

John Valente: Alexis was fantastic and helped my wife and I dial in our workout and taught us some alternative movements to help round out where we could improve. Though I was a guest she generously extended the body analytics scan to me as well which ensured our conversation was more tailored to what I needed. She’s an excellent trainer and I really appreciate her insights! In general I’ve found the staff at this gym to be supportive, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because I feel the gym could be a little cleaner especially in the men’s restroom and showers. For the price and what you get this is still a great gym that I can see is constantly improving.

High Level Boxing & Fitness - San Diego
Manuel Jimenez: I had an amazing time at my first class at High Level Boxing and it was really fun getting to meet the people there were all great and welcoming but also Raul was a great instructor who was patient and encouraging pushing us as a class. He was great to talk to with a lot of experience in boxing and knowledgeable about it really welcoming and professional. Mateo was also great and he great to talk to and really knowledgeable in boxing I had a great time talking to him and everyone else in the gym. The classes were really fun, engaging, and challenging. Note: The classes for Kids/Teenagers Are from 4:30pm-5:15-20pm However Raul typical opens the gym at 4pm incase you wanna warm up before class. The classes are 3 times a week from Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Fit Athletic Club & Gym - San Diego
Meredith Malinofsky: Cannot rave about Fit Little Italy enough! I’ve done personal training with Justin over the course of two years and I never thought I would enjoy working out until I started working with him. He’s clearly VERY knowledgeable and was able to work with me and my previous injuries and health concerns. He adjusted to fit my needs flawlessly and got me feeling STRONG for the first time in my adult life. Outside of that the staff in general are extremely friendly, I used to always think the gym was a scary place but the front desk, manager and other trainers always say hello. Truly feels like a COMMUNITY and not just a place to work out!
Wreckit Lifting Club - San Diego
Sage Ishibashi-To: Phenomenal gym, friendly staff and members, niche and great quality equipment. Couldn’t ask for more out of a small powerlifting gym. Checks all the boxes. The crew is a bunch of powerlifting legends to top it all off. Best barbell club in SD.
Hardcore Fitness Convoy - San Diego
Marci: The absolute BEST gym I’ve ever been to. From the trainers, members, and to the changes in my body - nothing compares! I hope to always be a part of this wonderful community. It’s nothing fancy but it’s solid and works! All I’ve had to do is show up and the workouts are set up for me. I’ve never felt more motivated or loved a gym until Hardcore Fitness. I actually look forward to coming to the gym now, whereas before it was a dreaded chore. The workouts are done in a class setting with a trainer - the advantage of having a personal trainer daily without the high costs. You would be doing yourself a favor to give it a try as they offer a 5 day free pass. Hope to see you there!
The Yard Gym Normal Heights - San Diego
Renee Smith: The Yard Gym is not just a gym but a place where you can focus on achieving your health and fitness goals in a supportive and upbeat community. The gym supports you having a well rounded fitness program offering Pilates, yoga, quarterly challenges, and additional training programs. The attention to detail in the aesthetic of the gym is one of my favorite things. The trainers are all friendly and knowledgeable, and the front desk staff are all warm and inviting. You always feel comfortable during workout sessions. Im 25 weeks pregnant right now and they still continue to hype me up!
Lindsey Keith Personal Training - San Diego
Sara Busby: I’ve been training with Lindsey 3x/week since November 2024. I have seen such a transformation with my body and my mind. My original goal was to lose weight and find motivation and consistency. Her workouts are hard but SO effective and they’re tailored for each client. It isn’t just a generic workout she gives to everyone. The first 30 days are a nutrition reset where you’re eating clean and not drinking alcohol. It was very challenging but after that 30 days, I had already developed great habits so it was easy to turn that into an everyday thing. I owe a lot to Lindsey - for improving my health, toning my body, and giving me confidence. She has the BEST energy and I honestly still look forward to going to each session. She makes everything fun and is so good at motivating. It’s the absolute best investment you can make in yourself! DO IT
Broadway Athletic and Swim Club - San Diego
Myriam Skodock: I really like this gym! Its the perfect place and vibe to "destress" after or before a busy workday. There is never an overwhelming number of people there, so you can always get to the machine that you want to use. Triathlon training is perfect here, too, due to the outdoor pool. Generally, I love that I can do all my workouts outside. Everyone is respectful, especially the staff, who are super friendly and welcoming. Cute little community.
