    KdHoneybadger: I love all of the coaches at FSF! My husband and I started in August 2021 and almost a year later its still our favorite part of the day. I went from struggling to carry groceries to hiking 12 miles in Sequoia (Jennie Lake). We workout 3-5 times a week and we feel so much stronger and healthier. The coaches are knowledgeable and a lot of fun to workout with. Highly recommend!

    Kevs Sanctions: Solid location on my journey to visit all the AF I can possibly travel to. Actually had a consistent 3-5 people working out in the 1-4am hours which is nice. The mens shower room was clean and spacious!

    Jessica Lacy: My husband and I have been doing Strength Shore Lab for about two weeks and we are loving it. The trainers are friendly and helpful. The workouts are challenging and fun and they mix them up so I dont get bored. Jade (one of the trainers) is already keeping her eye on my strength and pushing me. It feels good to be attended to well, see my body changing and be gaining more strength and energy.

As a 50-year-old with a herniated disc, I was concerned about finding a trainer who could work around my injury while still challenging me. Jemil has been incredible at creating workouts that are not only safe but also effective, allowing me to build strength without aggravating my back. Another great thing about working with Jemil is how flexible he’s been with my schedule. I have a busy lifestyle, but he’s always been accommodating, helping me stay consistent without adding any stress. He also has a fantastic app that makes following the workouts easy. It’s simple to navigate, and I love how it tracks my progress and keeps me motivated. Whether youre dealing with an injury or just looking for a knowledgeable and supportive trainer, I highly recommend Jemil!

    David Nguyen: Ive been to the Long Beach Hangar twice now, and the second time around, the routes were super interesting. Each wall offers fairly unique climbs like a lot of gyms try to offer, but I feel Long Beach routesetters know what theyre doing. There were a few climbs that offered dynamic approaches to them that were super fun, and you feel cool swinging from one hold to a mid-air hang between two holds. Super stellar stuff. The gym isnt as big as the Orange location, but parking is plenty, and it doesnt get nearly as crowded as Orange either. I came here Saturday morning and never once felt like I had to wait for anyone to climb anything. They do offer top rope and auto belay here, and Ill admit I was rusty on my top rope tech ique, but the front desk staff were super helpful and gave us a refresher. They have a small workout area with a bench and a few weights that nothing to be amazed about as well as a standard campus board and kilter. Honestly, if the Orange location is packed, come check out Long Beach Hangar. You wont be disappointed. Update: May 2024 Ive been really enjoying coming here on the weekends. Theres still no crowd, parking is always available, staff always friendly, and the routes have gotten more unique since my initial review, in my opinion. They do take a bit of time to reset certain walls but this gives you enough time to work out a project.
