2 /5 Ernesto Vega: To keep it simple, I don’t feel that my case was given enough attention.
Not a major case by maybe an attorney’s opinion, but it was very traumatic for me. Where I was hit by a car while jogging and the driver was definitely at fault. It then turned out their insurance company claimed “bankruptcy “ and my attorney said that my insurance company was all we would be able to argue for coverage.
In the end it felt dismissive from the firm that it was all we/they could do. I was confused with that. I always thought it was against the law to not have insurance coverage for these sorts of accidents.
My attorney then said there wasn’t much we could do to hold the person accountable in my accident. As a matter of fact, he said unfortunately/fortunately I wasn’t seriously injured like in a wheelchair. I was a bit taken back. I actually did end up in the hospital that day, with all be it minor, multiple injuries.
Overall and at the end of the journey to seek the help from the firm, I felt it wasn’t enough or a great experience.
