1 /5 Lauren Padilla-Valverde: My family has been a Mechanics Bank customer for over a decade. I have experienced great customer service at the El Cerrito, Berkeley and North and East Richmond locations. I have even been to the Central Valley locations and they’ve been great. However, my experience here at the Point Richmond branch has been unpleasant. I definitely feel treated differently because I’m a person of color (If you are a person of color you know what I mean). I won’t go there even though it is the most convenient branch for me.

J.r: Make no mistake never allow any auto dealership to use this bank or anyone of their branches, because they dont accept any payments at the bank how "convenient" everything has to be done by phone so if you want to pay your car in total They said nooo you cant, but you can make payments under 2,500 but not to the principal but interest! I know that Google will take this comment down again but am not stopping here because this have to be known, I have AUDIO and am willing to stand outside this bank with a speaker playing audio over and over so everybody knows how crooked they are!!!!!

Shelly Cox: They charge you 600.00 upfront plus charge you to prepare your taxes which is over 1k. They send your returns in without your permission or you even signing them and let you handle the fall out of their mistakes. No one likes to take your calls or call you back. Worst experience ever!! Yanji Sherpa: I recently visited Bank of America and was appalled by the service. I was in the business line and the teller looked visibly angry, offering no greeting or smile. After I made my deposit, she carelessly tossed my ID and receipt onto the counter without any explanation. I even thanked her, but she just stared at me in silence. Customers shouldn’t have to endure such unprofessional behavior. Bank of America, please do better.
