Sarah H: Fantastic experience and I highly recommend working with the folks at Swanson Law Group, specifically Greg Schaffer and team, including Yesenia who was extremely professional, helpful, and informative. Over the course of my case, Greg was highly responsive and kept me as current as possible with everything going on in the background. I had so much confidence working with him and his team throughout the process. I was always provided clear information and next steps and it was so helpful to have their support to navigate this process. I truly felt like I had a team behind me that cared and I’m grateful for all of the help and the support from Greg and the staff at Swanson Law group, thank you! If you need legal support, I highly recommend working with Greg and the folks at Swanson Law Group.
Law Offices of Thomas Nicholas Cvietkovich - San Jose
Fernando Rodriguez: Nick is the absolute man! Hes incredibly knowledgeable and tells it like it is—no sugarcoating. This was my first offense, and I was facing a DUI along with all the penalties that come with that charge. From the beginning, Nick clearly explained what the process would look like and laid out the potential outcomes we might face. Once we received the evidence in my case, Nick immediately developed a plan of action and began executing it without delay. A little background on my case: I left an establishment after having a few drinks and was pulled over at 7:52 PM for not having a front license plate (the timestamps are important in my case). The officer asked if I had been drinking, and I denied it. He claimed to smell alcohol inside my vehicle and had me step out to perform field sobriety tests. I completed the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, one-leg stand, and walk-and-turn tests as instructed. Despite my cooperation, the officer stated I exhibited "lack of smooth pursuit" in both eyes. This led to the administration of the Preliminary Alcohol Screening (PAS) test. I blew a 0.085 at 8:17 PM and a 0.093 at 8:20 PM. At that point, the officer placed me under arrest and gave me a chemical breath test, where I blew a 0.10 at 8:33 PM and a 0.09 at 8:37 PM. Since I had been pulled over and had my car turned off at approximately 7:52 PM, about 25 minutes passed before I was given the PAS test. The rising BAC readings—0.085 followed by 0.093—strongly suggested that my blood alcohol level was still climbing. This allowed for the argument that I was actually under the legal limit while I was driving. Nick recognized this key detail right away. He brought in a forensic science expert and presented this evidence at my DMV hearing, making that exact argument. Thanks to his expertise, Nick was able to save my driver’s license and spare me the headache of dealing with the DMVs consequences. After winning the DMV hearing, Nick used that success to convince the District Attorney to reduce my charges from a DUI to a Dry Reckless—something that’s extremely rare in the county where I live. I ended up pleading no contest to the Dry Reckless and received 1 year of informal probation, 30 hours of community service, and an $800 fine. All things considered, this was the best possible outcome given my situation and the strict policies in my county regarding DUIs. Nick absolutely crushed it, and I would 100% recommend him to anyone facing a similar situation. I hope I never need a defense attorney again, but if I do, Nick will be my first call—no question!

Amy Freiha: Tim was amazing during the difficult process of transitioning out of my dream job. Work injury is no joke and there are a lot of emotions and feeling to process after decades of service. Tim helped with all of it, allowed the space and time to heal, while pushing for what he thought was right and fair. You cannot go wrong with his service or approach.
Getachew & Ansari Immigration Attorneys, P.C. - San Jose
Iwona Kowalski: Ms. Medya was awesome! She did everything she promised and was very easy to communicate with. She truly listens and follows through, and we got the results we were hoping for. Her communication skills are excellent, and she makes you feel heard and supported throughout the process. I would definitely recommend her for any help you need!
Knight Law, Criminal Defense - San Jose
Margaret Kalaniuvalu Fakatoufifita: I was referred to Nana Knight & she had called me back on the same day I left her a voicemail. She was very genuine on the phone, that I instantly wanted to retain her. Her husband/ partner, Chris Knight, listened and was proactively in contact to ensure I was not getting flooded with calls I did not have to take. This was a great help for my mental health as I surely could not have done any of this alone. They don’t sugarcoat anything, but you will feel like standing back up when they’ve got your back. They are understanding to what we as people face in life and take our circumstances into consideration. Thank you Knight Law for being there for me and my children.
    Terkiana, PC - San Jose
Vedant Deshpande: Very unprofessional behaviour. They were late for the call by 1 hr with no prior intimation. They didn’t go through my files and documents, and provided random assessment without knowing the facts (and in case they referred the files and still gave the assessment that they did, then there are some serious issues). They said my denied petition was not correctly filed and told me to forget the case, but later I got the decision reversed by working with an experienced and professional lawyer.
The H Law Group - San Jose
Ralanda Middlebrooks: My father, who speaks no english, had gotten his second DUI. We had trouble finding a firm who could work with this language barrier until finding H law. Their team effortlessly communcated with him and helped get it down to a wet reckless.

    VIB Law - San Jose
Anonymous: My first time criminal charge, DV case dismissed at pre-trial. Thank you Mr. Valencia for maintaining confidence in my case throughout the criminal court process. Mr. Valencia comes highly recommended from my research. He always has the time to respond to my questions. When he is in court, his staff Pedro was always available to facilitate. Experience matters and this quality will stand out after only a few minutes meeting him. One of my best decisions was choosing Patrick Valencia and his law firm.
