The staff is warm and welcoming, the instructors are energetic, and the intimate studio setting within a quaint shopping center makes classes feel personal and community focused. I even considered a subscription because of how well the team knows and engages with its members.
However, I will not be returning due to a disappointing interaction with the owner. As I was leaving, she followed me out and asked about my shoes, believing they might be hers. Despite politely explaining twice that they were my own, she continued to examine them and held me at the door in front of other guests. I stated, I would not steal from your studio. She smiles and proceeded to say they just looked like hers. I left feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable.
For management, I recommend verifying shoe reservations or reviewing studio records before confronting guests. Your space is small enough to easily confirm such details without creating an awkward or accusatory situation. Additionally you are not the only seller of Pearl Izumi.
