5 /5 Connor Trafton: I worked with Sam to design and create an engagement ring, and the experience could not have been better! He took a design we found, make a couple of smart suggested revisions to the design, and had the whole thing created in a couple of weeks. He was very knowledgeable and helpful - I would easily recommend him to anyone looking to buy or design a ring.

5 /5 Jessica Gable: I was so nervous taking my grandmothers engagement ring to a cleaner because its practically never off my finger- but Sam at Jewels on Lake quickly allayed all of my fears! He told me he would clean it and make it shine like it was new, and thats exactly what he did. He completed the job in just two days knowing how important the ring was to me. 5 /5 Benito Sulit: Took my watches here for new batteries. One of the watch was missing a screw, that holds the battery in place, and Sam(I think that’s his name.) replaced it. He could’ve just put tape and called it a day. But instead, Sam took the time and great care to find a replacement screw from his inventory. What a CLASS ACT! I appreciate his honesty and the care that he gave my (not-so-expensive)watch with great care. :)

5 /5 Jer Monson: I recently paid a visit to Sam and Angela at Jewels on Lake based on all the fantastic Yelp reviews – and let me say, it’s not overrated! Pardon the pun, but this store is one of the San Gabriel Valley’s true gems! Sam is extremely knowledgeable and generous. In twenty minutes with him, I learned more about diamonds and settings than from every other jeweler I’ve ever visited, combined. It’s very apparent in talking to Sam that loves what he does, and it’s evident in the beautiful jewelry he creates. If you’re in the market for a ring, necklace, bracelet, or earrings, do yourself a favor: Don’t buy anything until you go see Sam! Seriously. You’ll be glad you did.

5 /5 Ben Roos: If I could give six stars, I would. Sams compassion, patience, and expertise is so refreshing. He once spent over half an hour with me, laboring over a watch that was incredibly important to me but had a delicate, damaged screw forcing its battery compartment closed. Sams care saved the watch and made me a lifelong customer, especially because I had been shooed away earlier from another shop because my watch seemingly wasnt valuable enough. Sams thoughtful treatment reflected how much the watch meant to me, independent of its monetary value. I also trusted Sam to repair my wifes 19th century engagement ring. His restoration was done quickly and with finesse, with the repaired area indistinguishable from how it was originally. Sam treats his customers like family, and he is a gem (no pun intended) in the community.
