Obayashi Edward - Dree Nicole: Stephon Clark, a young black man & father, was fatally shot 20 times by Sacramento police because an officer saw his cellphone & yelled GUN! Mr. Obayashi, whos also a deputy sheriff, sided with the police calling the shooting "reasonable". When is it ever REASONABLE for people to not feel safe at home? Would it have been REASONABLE if it were YOUR son, Mr. Obayashi? Would it have been REASONABLE if it were YOUR grandson? Its time for law enforcement to stop covering for one another when they do something wrong. Citizens are fed up & tired of there being no/minimal consequences for officers who boldly commit these heinous acts because they know theyll be protected by their brothers in blue. Tensions are coming to a head & people like Edward Obayashi are spurring it on by not doing the right thing. I have so much respect for the brave officers who put their lives on the line everyday, but having a gun & badge does NOT give you a license to kill.
