  • Kennedy Club Fitness - San Luis Obispo
David Hall: Solid equipment, lots of classes, pool, hot tub, basketball court, squash, racquetball and much more. Really has it all! Decent prices if you can commit to a monthly autopay membership, I still pay the monthly at the moment just because I travel. Pretty clean, friendly staff, other members are generally decent people, you still get the guys/gals who can’t stop starring at themselves in the mirror taking longer at stations but that’s every gym I have ever been to and I have been coming off and on for almost 16 years. Slo and ag are the only locations I have been to. I haven’t taken advantage of any add on services but they have some. I prefer this club over the alternatives. I still pay for boutique fitness class memberships but really good value here for what you have access to.
The Warehouse SLO - San Luis Obispo
Rodrigo: The Warehouse is an S-Tier gym. From the equipment, to the community, to the energy in there at all times. Top tier equipment, knowledgeable trainers who care, and a results-focused environment that still feels welcoming. Tara is absolutely awesome, and the love she has for her gym shows in endless ways. Whether you’re someone training for a competitive event or jumping into fitness for the first time in a long time, THIS is the place. See you in there!
kismet fitness - San Luis Obispo
Cassie M: I’m a 33 year old mom of 3 kids 7 and under. When I get to go to Kismet Fitness it’s the highlight of my week. These workout classes are so fun, it’s like a night out. The vibe is like a cute dance club with all your girlfriends. Brittany is a very fun and very knowledgeable instructor. She shows you what to do and also tells you why you’re doing it and what it will do for you. She also gives you modifications for whatever your needs may be. She makes sure everyone is comfortable at the level that’s right for them. I always walk out feeling good and have noticed the results of an effective workout, both physically and mentally.
Powerhouse Fitness - SLO - San Luis Obispo
isabella baez: the REAL DEAL. started coming earlier this year and havent been able to stay away!! the instructors are absolutely amazing and the results speak for themselves!
Club 24 - San Luis Obispo
Albert Medrano-Lopez: Very scummy enrollment practices. Unless you intend on working out here for a long while, be sure to check your contract. It is a 6-month term contract (and of course they tell you to enroll online so they don’t have to tell you that) and even when you explain California contract law to them, they act stupid
    Spark - San Luis Obispo
Reg Graz: Ive been to many studios and there are those that you go to once and have a nice experience, but then you find a studio that you feel the good vibes of the space and want to keep coming back. Spark Yoga is that studio. Its very warm and inviting. The teachers have very informative ques and insert hints of poetic script to their practice. Everything flows really well. Also everyone is so sweet. I will definitely be coming back to this studio in the future.
Orangetheory Fitness - San Luis Obispo
Luis F: I became a member in Texas in 2017 and I have 800+ classes under my belt. My home studio is now OTF SLO and I recommend it to anyone no matter where in their fitness journey they are. The workouts are incredibly effective. I’ve seen real results in both strength and endurance, and I actually look forward to coming in. The studio is always spotless, and the equipment well maintained. Coach Rodrigo is great! His energy, motivation, and attention to form push you to give your best every time. His classes are a nice balance of challenging and fun. That said, every coach here brings something great to the table. No matter who’s leading the class, you know you’re in good hands. Nicole and the front desk staff are also super friendly and welcoming. They always greet you with a smile and are ready to help with anything you need. It really is like a community here. Highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to get fit and stay motivated! It might change your life like it did mine.
Rev SLO Fitness - San Luis Obispo
Stacey Muraski: We came here for bootcamp while in SLO on vacation. It is a great gym! We were welcomed by everyone and loved the workout! 10/10 would absolutely come back next time we are in town!
Ritual Reform X Pilates - San Luis Obispo
Kaitlan Whitteberry: I was thrilled when Ritual Reform opened up in SLO - I had been searching for a Pilates-inspired workout that was challenging and did they deliver! The workout does take a bit of getting used to, but the results are well worth the effort. My favorite part is each set can be modified to your strength level, and is scalable so theres no risk of plateau. The studio is clean and inviting, and the instructors are all incredible. Each offers their own style and method of teaching while staying true to the Ritual Reform terminology, and I truly take something different from each class. Keep up the awesome work, team!
Empower Fitness - San Luis Obispo
Colleen Marlow: Caseys classes and privates are very high quality. She always drives one forward and keeps it fresh. Ive been doing Pilates for years and after her Mixed Apparatus class today (which I highly recommend), I was reminded of the T.S. Eliot quote "We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all of our exploring will be to arrive where we started and to know the place for the first time".
