To my profound disappointment, my case was turned down by Steven A. Barber. The explanation given for this decision was particularly disheartening – it was based on gender bias. I am a male plaintiff, and it was indicated that the firm did not wish to represent my case due to this fact, despite the female defendant being at fault and her own public confession. Such a rationale for refusing legal service is not only deeply unsettling but also raises serious concerns about the firms commitment to providing fair and unbiased representation. The notion that a legal cases merit could be overshadowed by the gender of the involved parties is a stark deviation from the principles of justice and equality. I am compelled to express my sincere disappointment and disillusionment with JRG Attorneys At Law. The experience has led me to conclude that this firm may not be the right choice for anyone seeking unbiased legal representation, especially in cases involving protected categories like gender. It is crucial for legal practitioners to uphold the law impartially, without succumbing to societal biases or personal inclinations. In light of this experience, I cannot recommend JRG Attorneys At Law to individuals who prioritize fair and equitable treatment in the legal system. Thus, we couldn’t use her as our attorney.
