Planet Fitness - Lodi brandon owen: I rarely write reviews, but this location deserves some honest feedback. The staff here is consistently unprofessional and disengaged. It’s frustrating to walk into a gym where weights are scattered everywhere and nobody takes responsibility for re-racking them — not even the employees.
Basic hygiene is clearly not a priority. Paper towel dispensers are often empty, the bathrooms are filthy, and the entire place smells like urine and feces. It’s honestly disgusting and unacceptable for a fitness facility.
To make matters worse, the music situation feels unfair and borderline discriminatory. If you play a song in English, it gets disliked by employees quickly, but Spanish-language songs seem to stay on rotation without issue. It feels like there’s intentional bias in how the music is managed — not exactly welcoming for all guests.
This place has seriously gone downhill. I’m not sure how corporate hasn’t stepped in, but until they clean house — both literally and figuratively — I can’t recommend this location to anyone.
