1 /5 S J Pleasants: David M Kindopp Law Office:
I got this attorneys name from a referral service. I was told they were located in Santa Rosa. I originally left a message at their office to schedule the appointment. His secretary called me back while I was driving and I asked her to text me the appointment information. She texted me the day and time. A few days later she called to reschedule because there was a mix up on his calendar; again, I was driving. cause that what I do for work... I asked her send me the updated information.
Never did she include the address. So, I was under the assumption that they were in Santa Rosa which is local to me.
Moving forward on the morning of the appointment I realized I did not have the address. I called the office and the secretary rudely gave me the address and I quickly apologized telling her I didnt realize they were in Ukiah I wouldn’t make it in time.
I asked to reschedule the appointment. The secretary puts me on hold; returns and explains that Davids Schedule just became very busy and he was now unavailable.
First of all, let me first accept some of the responsibility. yes, I could have also acquired the address... However, in my defense both times I spoke to the secretary I did tell her I was driving and requested she email or text me the information.
Nevertheless, in my opinion it certainly should be their responsibility to send something as important as the address. Especially since I was quoted $300-400 per hour.
Moving forward, I am glad they cancelled as I do not want to do business or hire someone that has such an ego trip that I wouldnt be able to get along with him or the office staff.
At the end of the day this is a business deal and I will take my business somewhere else that is appreciated and understands and accepts human error, especially when the human error is partly on their office.
