LA Fitness - Ventura

Paul Randall: Great experience at a fantastic gym. David from the sales team hooked me up with a pass to try out the gym, and it was more than expected. I am visiting from Oregon and was just checking out gyms in the area. The gym had outrageous amounts of room and tons of equipment. I had a fantastic leg day with a few machines Ive never used. Im not a huge fan of machines that rock with you, but thats a minor detail. I tried to take advantage of every amenity, from the sauna to the hot tub. I would highly recommend if you live in the area and next time Im in town, I will definitely be back.

BURN Ventura Lagree - Ventura

Amy Ursula Ahlblad: Ive had such great experiences here at BURN Ventura! I had the pleasure of taking classes with Summer and Sherri. Both instructors were amazing. Ive done Lagree regularly for 1.5 years and these were 2 of the best classes I have ever taken. I learned new moves from Sherri and Summer. I cant wait to come back!

Sue-Z Tatum: “WOW!!!” If you haven’t joined a gym in your lifetime, Im going to tell you, “YOU HAVE NOT LIVED UNTIL YOU JOIN BSF Fitness Center.” Oh, and about all the bad reviews about closing memberships, you have to let them know way in advance, and they will stop it. BIG SHOUT OUT TO BIG MIKE LEE. You are the BEST. Im glad to have been your first membership. As always, I appreciate you!!!

Planet Fitness - Ventura

Shana Murdock: I travel throughout the United States for work and visit multiple Planet Fitness facilities. The Ventura facility has the dirtiest women’s locker room and shower area I have ever seen. I was there three days in a row and it was very evident that the locker/shower area does not get cleaned. The sinks were full of hair. Hair on the floor throughout the locker room and hair in the shower stalls. In one of the shower stalls I used the handheld shower head to push a large glob of hair out the way. I returned the next day and the hair is in the same spot as I left it. The women’s locker room would fail a health inspection. The workout area is exceptionally clean which is the only reason I gave two stars.

Anytime Fitness - Ventura

Tim Cross: This is the worst Anytime Fitness I’ve been to. The facility is dark and dirty. Many fluorescent bulbs need to be replaced. There is a dank smell that permeates the air. Equipment often damaged. Benches are broken. Ceiling tiles are missing and there is even a piece of equipment someone is apparently too lazy to remove instead putting a sign on it for someone to take it for free. I HATE working out here, but it is the closest place for me to go. This place is miserable.

STRONGHOLD FITNESS - Ventura

Stefanie (Nicknack3300): Blanca is so kind and has created a positive vibe in the gym. She has dumbbells, cable machine, many cardio machines and a bike, squat racks, and more. She is also reasonably priced and this gym is 24/7 with a code. She recently moved into a bigger location and we love the new setup.

Ventura Family YMCA - Ventura

Jeff Birnberg: Love this place. I could have gone for a for profit gym, but the Y is so much better. The staff are first rate, the pools are clean and well supervised, the men locker room is always clean. I use the exercise equipment on the second floor; clean, well maintained and never crowded.

Sage Society Ventura - Womens Fitness - Ventura

Ariana Ruiz: Personally, I’ve never been a class person. But Sage Society classes and instructors totally changed my mind! Classes are designed to challenge us, but in a fun way. All the instructors are amazing, they are so professional, kind, and know exactly when you need that extra push. Maria, Elysse, Jackie, Kass, Launa, everyone: thank you! The community here is something else, the energy is great, and it’s always spotless. The girls in childcare take care of my baby like their own while I have a real workout! I love this place!

Lighthouse Fitness - Ventura

Michael Nam: I highly recommend this gym for anyone no matter their fitness background. I was introduced to the gym through the 6-week challenge and by the end I was able to lose over 15lbs and 6 percent body fat. I primarily went to the classes that Maggie and Collin taught and their workouts catered to what works best for everyone. Not only were the workouts great, but the community is highly supportive of one another. The atmosphere is a great place to challenge oneself to accomplish their fitness goals. Thank you.
