1 /5 Estella Padilla: I hired Carolyn Harris to assist me with my divorce, She quotes on her website " I handle family matters with compassion". She also quotes "Sometimes the court can be frustrating and confusing experience." I put my trust in her knowing nothing about the court system. She allowed the other parties attorney yell at me in my face outside the courtroom and said nothing! Her policy states you will be notified when your retainment reaches $500.00. She never did and now has sent me a bill of over $4,000 increasing with 10% interest. She is an attorney and did not follow her own policy and leaves me the client responsible? I didnt know I was supposed to do her billing? I hired her to defend me and now Im trying to defend myself from her.
