    the Sagacious Nick: I originally made this review on Avvo and after many years Jason Vogelpohl disputed it and tried to remove it. So I am now posting it on multiple places so people can be aware of his character. I met with Jason to consult about Bankruptcy. It was a simple BK, too much debt, not enough income. I easily fit in the guidelines for a chapter 7, however he tried to convince me a 13 was better. I took his assessment to another lawyer and got a second opinion, she was baffled until she saw the prices he was charging. He said the fees were simple because they were regulated by CA. Not 100% true, the MAXIMUMS are regulated by CA. He was trying to charge me the maximum fees for every possible item. Furthermore, I told him we should exclude the car loan as it was manageable and had a decent interest rate, he recommended against it because by including it he could charge another fee. I ended up filing for chapter 7 with another lawyer, paying less than half what he would have charged me and all my debt was discharged without making payments. Stay away form this guy.

This lawyer was obviously bribed by the other lawyer, she asked me to pay thousands to keep my wife support, and I payed her, at the end of the case the other lawyer sent me a paper saying I had to renounce my child support, and she told me to sign it. She also ,in front of the judge, for no reason at all, said this is way to complicated and I no longer want to work with miss (me),and that same day the other lawyer requested for my children to be at their fathers house for a month, which makes it worse. The only reason the children didn’t get taken from me longer, was because I had a other lawyer ready because I knew this was going to happens
