    Michael Guzzardo: Crowded 24/7, always wreaks like BO, hot & musty all year round, filthy everywhere, lines for every machine you need, no weights from 5-30 lbs on the rack, bathrooms are horrifying, creeps & weirdos, parking lot stinks of urine everywhere, vans/abandoned cars in the parking lot. Yet, somehow this is the biggest and best equipped gym in SD. If they charged more it could be so much better. Spend $5 more a month and you can get a much better gym.

    Robert Schavlay: Great location and love the layout of the gym. There is a big LGB community which I don’t have a problem with however; the staff has decided to put up clear shower curtains in the locker room showers. There were 2 incidents where I saw another male member looking at me through the curtain. I feel a “Frosted curtain” which cost the same amount would have been better for some privacy while showering. This is the only gym with clear curtains I have been to and it might have been intentional.

    Stan Alachniewicz: Older gym, but decent. Its honestly slightly more than 4 stars, but I cant give it 5, because that would be unfair to other gyms that are actually five stars, like the one on Balboa. But this one is definitely serviceable and has a decent amount of equipment and space, although, the space is spread out a bit, but I actually kinda like that. People who complain about dirt at gyms, well... every gym has some level of dirt, especially if its not brand new. So you have to put things in perspective. This one is definitely cleaner than other gyms. Besides, a lot of that has to do with the clientele and not the gym staff itself. They cant clean up constantly after gross gym-goers. People who go to the gym need to respect the gym, clean up after themselves, and rerack their weights!

    Carlo N.: Chuze Fitness is a popular upper middle class gym club in SD. They have different locations throughout SoCal. This location is very spacious and clean. They have all the weights and barbells, locker rooms, cardio machines etc. I like their facility, staff and the protein shake bar. Free wifi and parking are available. Overall, I recommend you Chuze.

    des wil: Waited weeks to get the gym renovated all the did was move the old equipment into the gym and put the cardio machines upstairs. The bathroom is the exact same as 20 years ago, cracked floors on the stairwell and the dumbbell racks still have horrible organization. This is my last time I pay 24 hour fitness memberships.

    Tyler Wagoner: Stronger, Healthier, and More Confident Thanks to Prime Fitness. I joined Prime Fitness about 4 Years ago, and its easily one of the best fitness decisions I have ever made. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming and motivating environment stood out. The trainer I see, Keith, is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and detail-oriented. He takes the time to understand your goals and adjust each workout to your needs - whether its building strength, improving endurance, or recovering from an injury. The gym itself is always clean and well organized, with quality gear and a setup that makes training efficient and enjoyable. I love that it never feels crowded and that every session feels focused and personal. If youre looking for a private, professional, and a results-driven gym, I cant recommend Prime Fitness enough! Its worth every bit of your time and investment.

    Elias G: Its gross. Very clearly not maintained at normal intervals. Mens locker room is full of ants, human hair, razor heads, empty water bottles, and discarded socks. I usually go to the PQ or Linda Vista locations which are nothing like this. Attached was the sight I saw when I entered the ADA stall, not including the dripping handle. Oh, and I didnt think I needed to check and ensure the ADA shower stall was working - when I got to the showers I found that the ambulatory "regular" shower head was working but the accessible shower head was not turning on when the mode was switched. Overall I wouldnt recommend this location of 24. Theyre very obviously neglecting the facility and eventually someones going to get sick or injured and theyll close like Balboa did. Disappointing and disgusting.

    Aizhan Khamit: I really enjoy coming to this LA Fitness. I usually go in the mornings, and it’s such a great time because it’s not crowded at all. The gym is always clean, the equipment is in good condition, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff here are always friendly, approachable, and willing to help if you need anything. A special mention goes to my trainer, Isaac Boes. He is by far the best trainer I’ve ever worked with. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and motivating. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, customizes workouts to fit my goals, and makes sure I stay on track. Training with him has made a big difference in my fitness journey. Overall, this location has everything I need, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive and supportive gym experience.

    Joseph Young: Equipment is newer and generally in better condition compared to other LA Fitness locations. Peak busy times are 530-6am, then 3-7pm when lines for machines may form and the gym gets warmer especially in the afternoons. Not too many wannabe influencers but some mostly later in the day. Equipment is usually clean but some patrons dont wipe surfaces down unfortunately.
