Kim Jaewon Amanda was absolutely fantastic during my cleaning today! She was gentle, thorough, and made the whole experience really comfortable. She took the time to explain everything and made sure I felt at ease throughout the visit. My teeth feel great, and I really appreciated her professionalism and friendly attitude. Highly recommend Amanda if you’re looking for a hygienist who’s both skilled and genuinely caring!

Jesse Gilbert I was pretty disappointed with my appointment with Total Health Dental Care. My first appointment was just an exam, and the doctor did the exam and then told me I had cavities. I have never had a cavity before but it was not unreasonable that I would get them. She didn’t say how many or how much it would cost. I assumed it was few. I had to wait for ~15-20 minutes in the waiting room, and then the receptionist showed me the paperwork for the costs of getting the cavities filled. Much to my surprise, there were 11 cavities listed, and it would cost ~$3,000. I left feeling dissatisfied. They didn’t talk about how it was weird I had never had cavities before and now had 11 or what I should do differently to prevent them and nothing to make me confident in their diagnosis. I went to my old dentist when I was visiting home for a second opinion and he said that I had no cavities and these were normal grooves in my teeth. This is kind of just dentist hearsay, but even if the total health dental care dentist was right, I think they did a poor job handling it. Other annoyances: both times I went, the door was locked, and I and several others waiting outside had to wait for 5 minutes past the start of the appointment before we were let in. The people were nice, at least.

cheryl ziegler I had a GREAT experience with Lynn at Total Health Dental Care in Berkeley. In all my 79 years of having my teeth cleaned, I must say Lynn gets a 10+ perfect score. She was gentle and SO thorough and gave me helpful tips on how to preserve my oral care. I look forward to my next cleaning more than ever. Thank you Lynn!

SANDRA LYMAN There services that they provided for my daughters needs in helping her through with her braces was so much appreciated they were gentle and I felt confident and comfortable knowing my daughter was in good hands. I especially liked how they held her hands during the numbing and applying the brackets on teeth the orthodontist assistant I think her name is Maribel she was so kind and helpful while reassuring my daughter that she will be ok THANK YOU SO MUCH

Melanie Veyrier Horrible experience! I was a new patient scheduled for an initial dental consultation. I arrived there to a very overcrowded and stuffy room. The two ladies at the front desk did not say hi or offered to check me in. I filled out paperwork and I could hear one of the lady over the phone misspelling my name and my address to my insurance (even if I had given a copy of my ID) I had an appointment at 10:30, I did not get to be called before 11:15... An older gentleman had been waiting for over an hour for a tooth extraction and was asking to talk to Management. The ladies at the front desk told him they did not know when the manager would be in. It was finally my turn after 45 minutes, they did not say sorry for the delay or anything. I was taken to a room, a tech worker took photos of my teeth (no welcoming words, not question about why I was coming or anything). She was not very nice or patient and thoughtful of discomfort as she proceeded. She was chatting with a colleague about their lunch plans, completely disregarding my existence whatsoever. Once she was done, she told me she would check to see if there was a room available for me... a few minutes later, another person came in and told me there was no room available for me and that the doctor was currently with another patient.... almost an hour after my scheduled appointment. She told me I would be sent back to the lobby... needless to say I was not pleased by the idea. I asked how long it would take and she said she had no idea, maybe 10-15 minutes. At that point, I told them I needed to go, it had been over an hour since my initial scheduled time and I could not stay longer. I was taken back to the front desk to schedule a "recall consultation" but I have no intention to ever go back to this place. I cannot share any feedback on the actual care since I did not even get to meet a doctor after a complete waste of time at their office.

Doctor Fadavi is very thorough and honest (I love that in a doctor) they squeezed me in last min and were so understanding about staying late. Would definitely recommend to go there if you are looking for somewhere to fit in. No judgment and just a happy place overall. Shoutout to Hedi and Henry the best team in town!

Mobilization Recordings They overcharged me about $400 for services. I printed out the coverage benefits and their billing statements with the overcharges and left them with the manager who never responded. This is going on a year now. After submitting the detailed statements to them three times now, I have still never been issued a refund.

Ginger Caliz Terrible dentistry. I went in on a Tuesday with an appointment at 3:30pm. Seated me 20 mins later ND waiting on patient chair for someone to see me. I was seen by a female Dentist- well I think she was a dentist which what makes believe she was not one..is she didnt know how to do a simple realignment. Pathetic! The asked her how much would my insurance pay...she didnt know this and all other girls didnt not know as well. she told me to wait and they will call another office. So, sad that here in Hercules we have a convenient dentist but the just dont know what the heck they doing. Im a new patient and because they wanted me to sign new patient documents which definitely, was unable to read I was not going to sign my signature on any documents. Overall 1st time experience...FLUNKED! I will never step foot into this place again. Bottom line, if you dont know any answers to a question or even know how to set up a procedure...you definitely, are not working on my teeth - for sure!

Adrien Jakes This place gave me TMJ and countless loose cavity fillings. Now Im being quoted thousands of dollar to fix Dr. Lins mistake. I would not recommend this dentistry to anyone that wants legitimate dental care.

DC Waiting The front office staff is friendly and helpful. They are very understanding of people with medical issues. They work with you on insurance problems and payment options. The other staff makes you feel comfortable and set you at ease. They are very good with kids. My daughter actually looks forward to going to the dentist now. The only thing I have an issue with is they dont mail reminder cards for appointments when they cant reach patient by phone.

Grace Ramos Enjoyed seems like a stretch to getting a root canal but I did quite enjoy my procedure with Dr. Fujimura. The experience overall was quick and painless and staff is friendly and thorough with all proceedings, would come again if and when needed.

Rick Warner If the Four Seasons opened a dental spa, it would be run by Dr. Azi and her team. I drive over an hour to see her—willingly—because she and her staff are just that good. Dr. Azi is obsessed (and I mean that in the best, most comforting way) with making sure you feel zero pain. I’ve never met someone so determined to make sure I’m more comfortable in a dental chair than I am on my own couch. Her commitment to my teeth actually exceeds my own—which probably explains how I ended up needing her in the first place. The office is spotless, serene, and somehow doesn’t smell like a dental office. Her staff is warm, gentle, and genuinely kind. You don’t just feel cared for—you feel pampered. Five stars isn’t enough. I’d give her a crown (and not just the dental kind) if I could!

David Wilson I called to make an appointment and was "helped" by a woman who couldnt be bothered. I gave her my name and insurance info, but when she asked for my SS#, I refused. Theres no reason they need my SS#! Her tone completely changed and became flustered. She said shed call me back after checking with my insurance company. I never heard back from her.

Antonio (Techguruji) I walked out of this place! I have never before been treated so poorly. Not even did the person giving me my first exam here not say hello, she did not greet me, did not introduce herself but gruffly simply said "sit down." Needless to say the rudeness morphed into ineptness as she was unable to place the sensor for xray insisting I "bite down" while driving the xray receiver into the soft pallet of my mouth under my tongue. I would not recommend anyone go here and be abused by such attitudes and actions. Id give 0 stars if that were an option.

Vitalii Sokolov I went to this dental office for a root canal cleaning, but without asking, they also put a crown on my tooth. The pain didn’t go away, so I came back. They gave me an injection and said it shouldn’t hurt anymore, but if it did, I should come back. Well, it still hurt, so I returned. But instead of helping, they acted like nothing was wrong and just gave me a referral for an extraction—while also saying they don’t recommend removing the tooth. So basically, they did unnecessary work, ignored my pain, and wasted my time. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

I was able to get an appointment quickly and was amazed to find that something that had previously taken two appointments weeks apart could be done in an afternoon here. I was impressed by the technology they were using which I hadn’t seen before, a 3-d imaging thing instead of the weird stuff you bite on. I love the team, they’re all super kind, Dr. Low is great at explaining what’s happening and I got in and out with minimal discomfort. I highly recommend this fabulous team.
