Michelle Sicalhua Jennifer did an amazing job she was patient and kind with my daughter. She was knowledgeable and explained the procedure to us and answered all of our questions. We were called back in a timely manner and the procedure it self didnt take very long which is always a plus.

Lucille Adams This is the absolute best dentist hands down. Dr. Yvonne has always been my favorite and the staff here is also amazing! They are all wonderful and positive with all the kids that come in and make sure they are comfortable. They also care about the products you ingest by avoiding artificial colors in the lollipops they give the kids and even the soap in the restroom. Clean office all around. Highly recommend!!

Michael Conrad I made an appointment one week in advance. I took a day off from work and when I arrived at 11:30 for my 11:45 appointment (after a thirty-minute drive) I was told they were short staffed and weren’t taking anymore examinations for the day. I was simply attempting to get my yearly teeth cleaning but was told they couldn’t fit me in. They don’t call, text or email you. They just wait until you show up and turn you away. My wife and I were already fed up with Modesto Western Dental and this ensures that I’ll never set foot in that building again. No matter what time your appointment is, you’ll wait at least an hour until you are taken to a chair, where you’ll wait another thirty to forty-five minutes. My family has never spent less than three hours there for any appointment. I recommend you go anywhere else if possible.

Jessica Gutierrez This might be long but I need to share my experience to warn others before they go. My experience was so awful we looked into getting a lawyer and these reviews below me back up every single claim I have. Not only was there trash in the room where I was being seen and not a single person noticed for more than an hour, the Indian doctor was completely rude and would not work on my teeth (dental emergency) unless I paid the extra $1300+. First I was seen by the Xray tech who was great, told him my issue and what I was told before at a different dentist. I finally go back to see the dentist who didn’t even introduce himself but felt the need to correct me and tell me what I told the X ray tech was wrong. ( it’s not wrong it’s right on GOOGLE?!) Not only was he very unprofessional, he refused to do an extraction unless I paid more for other services that would benefit if I chose an implant. I did not want an implant. He didn’t explain anything besides trying to prove me wrong about what I was told at another dentist. There was maybe 2 minutes of interaction with him to the point where I couldn’t even tell you his name because he never gave it. He treated me as if I were another transaction. Next they sat me in a room where multiple different people came and start poking and prodding me with needles without any single explanation of what and why this was happening. Everyone was speaking in different languages and I felt like I was getting my teeth worked on in a third world country. I was terrified. I started shaking and crying uncontrollably because my environment was so foreign and felt so inhumane to any other doctor/dentist visit I have ever had in my life? Then the process started and I was still in pain, I could feel what was PAIN and not “pressure & pulling” as I grabbed the nurses arm and told her I can feel this, the dentist huffed and puffed and proceeded to start stabbing my cheeks inside with what I’m assuming numbing shots? I wouldn’t know because there was zero communication from any of the staff besides the lovely lady who was trying to comfort me in my time of stress. I felt like I was treated like an animal at this location. One of the worst experiences of my life and now I am terrified to go back anywhere to finish my procedures. Please if you have anxiety or anxiousness (which I put on the form beforehand) do not go to this location. Especially the Indian doctor who is just practicing to make $$$. This place needs to be shut down as for as I am concerned. Learn hospitality, it goes a long way. Also PLEASE do not take your children here!!

guru kirpa I would leave a 0 star if I could, but there is only one star. This is my sole and initial visit to this location, and I was unpleasantly surprised and disappointed. Western Dental Corporation scheduled an appointment for me at 1pm. When I arrived for my appointment at 12:30pm, the front desk receptionist, Tatiana, informed me that the entire staff was closed for lunch from 1pm to 2pm. She suggested that I either reschedule my appointment or return after 2pm. I inquired as to why they were offering me an appointment at that time, as they were closed. She rudely responded to my request to coordinate an appointment, unaware that we are closed for lunch. When I contacted corporate, they informed me that Western Dental Clinic never closes for lunch. She attributes the scheduling issue to corporate, and she asserts that Corporate does not have control over our Clinic. She was unwilling to listen to patients and was compelled to listen to her. Her manner of speaking is exceedingly impolite, and she is incapable of extending a cordial and joyful welcome. She denied my request for the grievance form, stating that my superior, Victor, had informed her that we do not retain grievance forms; instead, they are provided as a customer service number.

Maria R Dr. Vu was very thorough. She really helped me with my gum issues. Maria the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. I recommend this office.

Andul Andddol I truly don’t know what to say. I have never written a bad review for anything because I don’t really care. But this place is a mess. I went here at 11 and finished at 3. My first impression was, “Oh, okay, no worries. I know that they have a lot of responsibilities, and they sure are busy.” They were not busy. From 11 to 3, they only took my X-ray—only the X-ray. My impression was like, “Okay, no worries. I know how I would feel being under all this pressure, and I wouldn’t move fast because mistakes are very important, especially when it’s teeth and dental-wise.” Five hours wasted. This lady took me into her office. I was expecting something along the lines of, “So we figured out what plan would be best for your teeth, but we are not going to charge you yet. First, we need to know what’s covered by your insurance.” Mind you, they frightened the crap out of me by making false accusations and then proceeded to screw me out of $3,000. She went to the doctor—oh, I mean “to her friend to have a little chat”—came back and said, “We have a 20% off coupon today. Your total is $2,800 or $2,700 or something like that.” I went to a different dental office, and they told me nothing had been sent to the insurance company regarding the treatment that I was supposed to get. I don’t know if it’s ideal to show you guys my insurance information but trust me.

Timor Shah we had a disappointing experience with this clinic. The staff demonstrated unprofessional behavior, showing a lack of respect for patients. They refuse to accommodate emergency walk-ins, and unfortunately, the dental assistants were also quite unhelpful. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic for your dental needs.

Snapper Thompson I never been one that enjoys dentist visits, who does? Anyway, since my first visit and all visits since, have been pretty kickback and relaxed. I have “issues” being out in public without supervision and I was relaxed there and bro at the front desk was super cool and easy to talk too. I am glad I chose Western Dental and would highly recommend them to friends and family. Thanks again to all the staff for making dentist visits less terrifying, less stressful and just easier overall.

Stephanie Cardenas I went in for a consultation and had a good experience at western dental. I had to a wait a little longer for my appointment, but the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The patient coordinator, Karla was very helpful. She was very thorough in explaining everything and answered all my questions with a lot of patience. Overall, I was happy with the service and would go back.

Alixandria Sepe This place has been such a blessing to me and my Daughter. She no longer dreads going to the Dentist. In fact, she’s excited to go now. I think what makes it stand out is the friendly staff. They’re very accommodating and honest in the sweetest, nicest, kid friendliest way. I appreciate that because going to the dentist can be scary sometimes. Also, they have Disney movies playing on TVs in the ceiling and ask my daughter what she wants to watch in the beginning of every appointment. That makes her feel special to get to choose and also distracted during the procedures. They have video games and iPads in the waiting room which are fun and calming. Finally, it’s a huge bonus to have the Orthodontist in the same office. 10 out of 10 for us.

Denisse Overall it has been a great experience when we go for both my girls appointments. Front desk always very helpful and answering questions. My youngest enjoys going to get her check up annually and treatment. Staff ensured she felt comfortable and was explained a tool that would help her through her sealants to make it less scary.

Austin Khy Dr Pineda and his team are the best! I came in for a root canal today and was one of the patients that needed numbness inside of the teeth. Dr Pineda and his team took care of took care of me and also took me in to readjust my filling. I’ll be coming here until my teeth is completely fixed and I can undoubtedly trust him and his team! They’re absolutely the best!

Genava Ramirez I was looking for a new dentist for a while finally decided to try Pineda Dental a try a few weeks ago. Staff members were extra friendly and right away make you feel welcome. Dr. Pineda himself is beyond professional and goes above and beyond and explains everything right to the main point he doesnt rush you and makes sure he answers all your questions. They are very right on point with treatment plans and prints you the price of what everything will cost overall etc Sarah at the front desk makes sure she explains all cost in detail. Came back to Dr. Pineda today to get a scaling done on my mouth was a bit nervous at first but him and his assistant did a great job very gentle and everything was pain free.... I plan on keeping Dr. Pineda as my dentist and will totally recommend him to family and friends.

Dorraine Whatley Ive had the most amazing experience Ive ever had in Dental history. I just had a root canal done and I felt absolutely no pain even during the procedure where as after the procedure I am still feeling no pain. The serenity of the office truly relaxes you and the dentist is amazing with making sure youre comfortable during your procedure. I truly highly recommend this this dental office!

Him and his staff are very professional and friendly, and they don’t mind answering all my questions, and always making me instantly feel at ease and confident to move forward with any procedure. In my opinion if you are looking for a knowledgeable, great, professional and friendly dentist give this Dentist and his team a chance. Trust me you will not regret. He knows how to put patients at ease and explains treatment in a simple way to understand.

Angie Dr. Sotomil is a great dentist. She took extra time while doing my deep cleaning and even took an extra x-ray to make sure she didnt miss anything.
