Katie was so kind, warm and welcoming I felt instantly relaxed. She takes time to learn about you — and finds out what you want from the experience to ensure you have the best experience. Everything from the warm lavender scented eye mask to the glass cooling massage globes, to the facial work and treatments was stellar. I highly recommend that you experience what Katie has to offer.

Jai I am still blown away by the magic, professionalism, and connection that comes through Katie Callahan. The first time Katie and I connected to discuss bridal makeup I knew I was in good hands. Katie made me and my whole bridal party feel like family. She was over-the-top accommodating and a true artist of her craft. The wedding makeup came out beyond perfect and her timing was impeccable. I am so grateful to have found Katie, she is forever a sister and friend. Highly highly highly recommend working with this magical angel.

Rose Howard Alexis was awesome. She did a great job working with me. I loved how the partial highlight framed my face. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but she was great at interpreting what I tried to describe as an inspiration. Lvnfood D Carly was an absolute pleasure to hang out with. For my brow tint and lamination, she was incredibly thorough and we worked together to remedy my left eyebrow problem that has been plaguing me since the day after my fifth birthday when I fell and needed 13 stitches. I am an actress and a model and I am super excited to see the results of my first photo shoot after getting my brows laminated. As well Carley performed a lash tint and lift on me. We collaborated on making sure that the curl is done in a way where they will be easily manageable when growing out. My lashes are so perfectly spaced and my eyes look so bright and chipper! I enjoyed not wearing any mascara for a handful of days before I NEEDED to put some on for the photo shoot. I can’t thank her enough !

Angelina Kassebohm I started seeing Carly for my lash extensions last summer, and she is amazing! Always working with me to create the desired look while never compromising the health of my natural lashes. The salon is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming! Always a wonderful experience! Kayla Richardson I swear, this little salon must be one of the best kept beauty secrets in Petaluma. I first found Carly when I was looking for someone to wax my eyebrows and I chose her because of the great reviews. Shes been doing my eyebrow and lip waxes for the last year and I cant imagine trusting my face to anyone else. Shes the consummate professional and super personable which made me feel comfortable from our very first appointment. More recently, I decided on a facial and to get serious about my skincare. The facial was calming and wonderful, my skin felt like a million bucks. I bought the starter skincare kit and after a week my skin is glowy, it feels healthy and the dry red patches on my cheeks have subsided substantially. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Carly and the team she has working with her. Its clear that the ladies working at Stardust are passionate about their work and their clients are loyal. Run, dont walk!

Abby Raetz Megan did a fabulous job! She had no trouble dealing with how dense my hair is and cutting it so I don’t have the dreaded triangle hair. The studio is a lovely calming environment and Megan was very kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend for curly and wavy hair havers!

Jamie L Villanueva I met Megan over a year ago in Seattle, searching for a curly hair specialist. Each haircut has been masterful! Other curly-haired individuals know the struggle of finding a competent stylist who can work with all hair textures. During one of our sessions, I learned she is also a master Reiki practitioner and an intuitive tarot reader. Her readings have been spot on each time. During one Reiki session, she mentioned pain potentially due to a cartilage issue in my hip. I was experiencing hip pain, but as that was not the focus of the session, I hadnt told her! She gave me practical and helpful tips to resolve the issue. In a serendipitous turn of events, we both moved back to the Bay Area from Seattle in March. Im soooo excited to continue seeing Megan for Haircuts and her ceremonial offerings!

However, Monica helped me develop a plan of how to grow my gray out in stages where it wasn’t so shocking and uncomfortable. Bridget Lee Was fortunate to snag a same day cancelled appointment with Monica. I went in for a donation hair cut so was going from long to pretty short. Monica took the time at the start to go over ideas I had and to offer suggestions. She was super nice and did a fantastic job!

Jessica Cerami 10/10 would recommend. We brought our 18 month son here for his second hair cut (we took him to the “other” kid cutting place in town for his first and they butchered his hair) and we’re so impressed by the level of service and experience! Our son sat still for the entire cut and didn’t fuss once thanks to the amazing set up. The seats are all play cars and they have TV shows to distract the kids while they’re getting a haircut. Worked like a charm! The hostess was also great at blowing bubbles and helping to entertain him towards the end when he started getting squirmy. His cut is so cute and we’ll definitely be back again!

Christian Beyer Bad day today, online kept changing times to arrive initially 46 min, when I arrived it went from a couple minutes to over an hour. The app doesnt configure with what the shop can do. Waste of time. They should think about major upgrades to their scheduling and technology that they use before they continue making customers miss their appointments and wait around and then not going to haircut. They cook good hair though usually.

Debora Holleman The salon has a great playroom for kids while they wait and when it is their turn, they are given a small basket full of toys to play during their hair cut. My son is very very shy, but he feels so comfortable around Dina and Chris. They talk to him, ask him about his weekend, school, favorite things and 15 minutes later my son has a perfect haircut. There is a kids’ hair salon where I live, which I’ve tried and didn’t like, so I’m happy to drive to Petaluma for my son’s hair cut. I highly recommend it! Chris and Dina, keep up the good work! You are true treasures, I feel so lucky to have access to such warm, loving and talented professionals like yourselves!

Clear Choice Window Washing Eduardo gave me the very best haircut ever in my life! It was smooth and easy and the privacy in his art/hair studio is superb! I will be calling him to schedule again today! Its worth going to Petaluma from anywhere to see him!

Kelly Geiskopf Purely Sonoma is the place to go with its light and airy aesthetic. They use clean line products throughout the whole salon which is how I found them initially. Victoria is the best! My hair color always looks natural and makes me feel amazing when I leave the salon. Highly recommend!

marc goldberg This review is long overdue. My original hair stylist dyed my hair (almost) black - not a good look on me. My husband and I had to fly out to California the next day for our Anniversary celebration in Sonoma. No time to go back to the original stylist to fix. Victoria spent almost 8 hours fixing my hair, she was my savior. Honestly - I am beyond grateful, as she spent so much time helping me. It looked that bad - trust me. When I left Purely Sonoma I felt like me again and even better. Victoria worked wonders and I hope to go back when in Sonoma.

Maria Duong This was a comical experience that reminded me of my childhood. I asked for about 4-6 inches to be trimmed and the rest layered. Well…my hair went from my butt to my shoulders and it uncovered childhood memories of the same experience from ages 5-15. Its an average haircut and will look okay in a couple months when my hair grows out again, but I think this will be my first and only experience here

John Rodgers I like to support local businesses. Kims is one of them. I never seem to have much luck with "Online Check-in" to all the major outlets. I tried all of them and only once in a while do I get lucky with a walk in. Last time I tried a large outlet I waited for the place to open online, waited the obligatory 5 more minutes cause they would not take check-ins until the store had been open for 5 minutes. So at 10:05 I refreshed my browser and checked in. I left immediately and was only 10 minutes away. By the time I got there there were like 5 people already ahead of me. its a no win situation for me. So I discovered Kims a few years back. Small business, she does great work (for me at least) and is fast I walk in and walk out and have yet to be disappointed. Yes, the language barrier can be tricky and they take cash only so I can only give 3 stars. The place is small and does good in my book! Stay away from the large retail barbers and go to a small business barber. Youll feel better and most of the time, look better!
