venna lovee I Love love love my hair! Thank you Marcela for hooking me up. I came in with it breaking off from a bad bleaching done somewhere else. She maintained as much length as she could. She was very sweet. She didn’t rush my hair cut but was very fast. She definitely knows what she’s doing. Please come here for any hair services. The entire salon was polite & was very clean. I will definitely be back !

Jonathan Lopez My to go place to get my haircut and braids done. Elizabeth is my favorite barber,because she braids. Itslikea therapy going there to talk about stuff I can only trust a barber with. Lol but everyone is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place.

Shawndalyn Jones Went in today for the first time as a walk-in for a trim/haircut and I must say the wait time was minimal and the lady that did my hair was awsome! I regret not getting her name but shes the 3rd chair on the left when you walk-in. She made me feel really comfortable ,was very professional and had a reall chill humble vibe to her!!!! Will fa sho visit again!!

Espie The worst haircut ever! I will never go back or recommend anyone there. I dont know where the woman that cut my hair learned to cut layers but she really messed my hair up! I should have asked if she even had a license to cut hair.

Itzel P My family and I have been going to this salon for years now. Like, 20+ years! Always great service and always customer service. Mary is great and are her other stylists. She does lashes too! Got those done for my birthday last year. Will be calling soon to book my 6mo trim! Top for new clients, call ahead to schedule a time since she gets busy, and park behind the building! Thats where theres plenty of parking space :) Shes lightened my hair, cut my hair, given my bangs, done conditioning treatments on my hair, dont my lashes and my make up. All big or small events that I like to get filled up for, i go to Mary and her crew. Highly recommend!

E de las Frutas So glad I found this place. Ive had my locs for 14 years and refused to go to a stylist. Unfortunately, my hair became so damaged, I couldnt fix it. Looked around for other stylists in my area, but didnt see any good reviews like this place. J James fit me into his already busy schedule.Definitely recommend! My hair got twisted and had some locs reattached. Years of damage gone! Will be returning. Update July 15, 2023 Been going here for over a year now. Still love this place!

Tyler Smith 10/10 would recommend anyone to go to J James, especially if you have locs! He knows what he is doing and has been doing it for YEARS! Very professional, great atmosphere, reasonable prices and if youre acting right hell leave you with a few extra laughs too lol

krystal bell I received a my first facial here in January of 2023. The facial was really great. Because I have oily, porous skin and am someone of African descent, I am skeptical of facial. However, Ashley was very aware of my skin type and her products left my skin smooth and soft. I recommend her to anyone wanting to get a facial for the first time.

Jocelyn Cardenas If there was a zero star option I would choose it because the first time I went to get my brows done they came out pretty good but I had a rash I thought maybe because I had makeup on but who knows. The second time I went to get my brows done my mom told them that I got very red after and they just kept yapping about how the redness was maybe because i was allergic, anyways this time the wax was very hot and the kept using the same wax stick and after I left they didn’t throw it away which that’s disgusting, back forward to my brows they were superrrr uneven and my brows where thick and full after this my brows where thin and not very full. And I got a super bad rash, swollen eyes that I couldn’t open, and my skin got burnt. DON’T GO THERE!!!!!!

The first time I left the salon crying because my hair was so bad, when I left this salon I left with tears of joy, my hair looked amazing, she worked a miracle and did her best to not make sure I did not lose too much length! Angelica Fong Excellent customer service. They offer drinks (e.g. water, soda, alcohol) for free. The lady who helped me mainly speaks Spanish and a little English, so I would recommend translating what you want to ensure you get what you want done. She did a good job with coloring, cutting hair, and straighten to curl at the end.

BunnyComputer I came today for a trim for the back end of my hair but the stylist made a good recommendation. I came so I could tame my hair for my graduation but the stylist made a suggestions even through they didnt know it was for a special occasion. My hair never looked like this before. I must mention that I have a lot of thick hair. They could tame my hair very well. I love my hair, I wont go with my old stylist anymore that is how much I liked the treatment and service. They are a good place if you have autism they will work with you.

Michelle Beltran I took my Mom here. She wanted to have her head shaved because cancer treatments have left her balding. Her spirits were so down. This lovely tender hearted girl gave her a nice little short hairstyle that she has not stopped telling all her friends about. The girl would not even accept payment and just had the kindest nature. We felt like this was a true blessing! You never know how big of an impact a kind gesture can make. Thank you again and Happy Belated Birthday! Newton Shin Don’t have an old Mexican lady ever cut your hair. I regret that I went to the store for my haircut and they charged me $25 for seven minutes of Hair Cut. The worst haircut I ever got and ever experience.

Der Lor I love getting my nails done certain times. The only person I would always go to is AKV BEAUTYY who is known as Angel. I could never get my nails done without her. I really appreciate her time and efforts to do my nails. Im always thankful for everything you do.

xiong relina I got my nails done by Angel & it turned out so cute! Just the way I wanted them. I think the only thing that I would say is that she is a little rough; I got one to two minor cuts but nothing practice can’t improve! Retention on the other hand was awesome. My nails lasted for almost 2 months!

V Mcmurry I had colored my daughters hair from a box, and it already was fading, so my daughter called around and Amalia got her in on the same day she called...she did an amazing job redoing color on my daughters hair!! It turned out a beautiful deep burgundy..wish i could post a picture to show how gorgeous it is!...We definitely will be coming back here for all our needs! Thank you!

Sam Le Thiss my second visit. Not your typical fancy hair salon, its more homey vibe, but I got a haircut and digital perm at a reasonable price. Miss J also took time with my damaged hair instead of rushing through it. Would come back again.

Michael Ju Im Korean. Ive had haircuts from Korean and Caucasian barbers/stylists over the past few decades. Ive never once had to direct the stylist to stop cutting because of how bad it was getting. This lady was lazy, sloppy, and would not listen to what I was asking for (in both Korean or English). I kept asking for a fade on the sides and back and she just left out an inch jutting out; I just asked for it to be smoothed out but she kept shearing off more and more. I even showed her a reference photo of myself with what I wanted, then a picture of a fade on Google; she didnt seem to understand or was unable to give a fade? She was also very unprofessional saying phrases in Korean like "youre so frustrating" and "oh I dont know, itll grow back". I guess it sounds like shes ok with womens hair but wow do not come here for mens haircuts. My partner literally had to stand by and direct her where to cut due to how uneven it was. First time Ive walked away from a haircut traumatized. Below are photos of what she pawned off as a finished haircut. For $30. Maybe worth $5? You be the judge.
